Big news from Disneyland today!
Disneyland has announced that the parks will be reopening on April 30th for California residents. We’ve previously shared some ticket purchasing guidelines, but now, we’ve got even more details about the BIG reopening.
As we’ve mentioned, Disneyland will utilize a brand-new reservation system to assist with park capacity limitations. Like the Disney Park Pass system in Disney World, ALL guests, including Annual Passholders and resort guests, will be required to obtain an advance reservation for park entry. Guests ages 3 and up will need valid admission in addition to that Park Pass reservation. Also remember that groups must be smaller than 3 households in order to visit.
This reservation system launches on April 12th, so guests with existing tickets will be able to start making reservations then! Ticket sales will resume on April 15th, and those guests will immediately be able to make park reservations, too. Here are some dates to keep in mind:
Park hopping will also return, and will begin at 1PM each day. Upon reopening, park hours are currently scheduled for 9AM-7PM. Like at Disney World, you will need to make a Park Pass reservation for your first park of the day. And if you need any help making those reservations, Disney made it easy for ya with a step-by-step guide!
If you’re planning on eating while you’re in the parks, reservations for select locations are expected to open on April 22nd, with limited capacity. You’ll be able to book your dining reservation 60 days in advance. For Quick Service restaurants, you can utilize Mobile Order to order and pay ahead.
Lastly, you’ll be able to park at the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures off Disneyland Drive. We’ll keep an eye on all the latest details and continue to keep you posted, so stay tuned to DFB!
