When Disney World first reopened, a number of restaurants reopened with it, but others remained closed. Over the past few months we’ve seen more restaurants become available to guests again and soon another spot will join the group!
Recently, Disney announced that character dining will be coming back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom this summer, and now we’ve got more details!
Ready to enjoy a meal with Donald Duck and his friends in Animal Kingdom? Then you’ll be thrilled to know that Tusker House Restaurant is set to reopen in Disney’s Animal Kingdom on…June 20!
The restaurant previously served its meals buffet-style, but note that when Tusker House reopens it will be serving a family-style menu with African-inspired flavors. So far, official menus haven’t been shared, but we have gotten a look at some pictures that appear to show some of the food that will be available for breakfast…
…and for what will be likely lunch and/or dinner.
Tusker House will be a character dining location, with friends like Donald Duck and others making an appearance. We expect it will be much like the other modified character dining experiences available in Disney World right now, where the characters greet guests from a distance.
Reservations for Tusker House will become available on Friday, June 4th, so be sure to mark those calendars!
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more details and we’ll let you know what we find. Stay tuned for all the latest!
