EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is almost here!
The festival begins on July 15th and will run through November 20th, 2021. We’re going to see some of our favorite food booths returning and there are several new booths to look forward to! There are also activities around the park to participate in like the epic cheese crawl that’s returning, and we just found out what’s on the menu!
Emile’s Fromage Montage is returning to Food and Wine this year! Here’s a look at the items that are on the crawl:
That’s a lot of cheese! But we’re not complaining, eating cheese is one of our favorite activities around here. The returning items on the list include the Schinkennudeln from Germany, which is a pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese that is basically like a big block of mac n cheese, and it’s AMAZING.
There’s also the Corned Beef Corner Route from Flavors from Fire hosted by The NFL on ESPNÂ coming back…
…and the Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey from Greece after being on hiatus last year!
The Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts is also coming back after being gone from the HawaiÊ»i booth’s menu in 2020!
The only completely new item on the crawl is the Crispy Barbecue Pork Rinds with Pimento Cheese which will be at the Swanky Saucy Swine booth, which is brand new!
Once you’ve tried all 5 food items and collected your stamps in your Festival Passport, you can head on over to Shimmering Sips for a special prize! We can’t wait to complete the cheese crawl (maybe multiple times) and see what the prize is! Stay tuned to DFB for reviews on all of these items the day the festival opens.

Which item are you most excited to try? Let us know in the comments!
As someone who doesn’t eat anything with pork products in it but is a huge cheese fan, I wish that there were a few more options sans pork.
Nicola, I’m with you on the lack of vegetarian options in general on the crawl. You could try to request some without the pork (maybe?), and they’ll usually let you have more than one of the ones that work for you when they do these crawls.
Nicola, I came here to say the same! The way I figure it, there’s not eating the rinds and using another booth’s dipping options, and doubling up on another. Apparently in previous years you can get something more than once for it to count. I’m excited, but I’ll also warn you, I’ve seen how small the “special treat” usually is, so if there’s not enough for you to like 3/5 or be willing to double up, you’re probably not missing much.
