It’s the opening day of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and we’re having a BLAST!
We’ve eaten so much food (seriously, SO MUCH FOOD) and we’re still making our way around the park to check out all that this year’s event has to offer. We’ve been sharing all of our reviews and thoughts throughout the day, including all the details you need to know. But when we were checking out the festival resources on the My Disney Experience app today, we noticed something very odd!
The My Disney Experience app (aka the Disney World app) is home to a lot of great tools to help you navigate your park visits. In fact, you can find most of the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival booklet right there on the front page. We went in to check it out today, but there was an unusual issue — the menus were all mixed up!
The list of booths/global marketplaces was correct, but once you clicked on some of them, the items listed were completely wrong. For instance, one of the new booths, The Noodle Exchange, was having a serious identity crisis.
On the menu, it had items listed from booth the Brew-Wing booth at the EPCOT Experience and the Swanky Saucy Swine booth. In fact, we saw this same strange menu repeated on several menus for other booths that are new to this year’s festival.
Then, we noticed another odd occurrence on the menu for Tangierine Cafe — Flavors of the Medina. Here, there was one item out of place…the Warm Raclette that so famously belongs to The Alps booth! Everything else seemed to be in order though.
However, some of the global marketplaces didn’t seem to be having any trouble at all. Those that were returning, like Australia, had all their items correct.
We’re not sure what to make of this glitch, but for now, we advise you to check out the menus on the DFB website. All of our pages are up-to-date with menu photos and pricing. Hopefully, they’ll get this fixed up soon! Until then, stay tuned for more EPCOT Food & Wine Festival coverage!
