Halloween may have just kicked off in Disney World, but they’ve already got their sights set on the next holiday season — Christmas!
This year, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been canceled, but there’s a BRAND NEW event here to take its place! Disney Very Merriest After Hours is set to take over the Magic Kingdom on select nights from November 8th to December 21st and you can already get your tickets!
Guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort were able to secure their tickets beginning just a few days ago, and now tickets are on sale for ALL guests! All you have to do is visit Disney’s website or call 407-939-7947.
You’ll want to keep in mind that pricing can vary for this pricey holiday event, with tickets ranging from $169 to $229 (plus tax) for select nights in November and December and costing all the way up to $249 (plus tax) on both December 19th and 21st. Of course, current Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can secure a $10 discount, you’ll just have to attend on or before November 19th to get the savings.
Here’s a quick list of the dates and pricing for this year’s event:
Right now, tickets for ALL of the dates are still available, including in November…
…and December, so you’ll want to hurry if you have your heart set on a specific one — if this holiday event is anything like Disney After Hours BOO Bash, then tickets will go FAST!
So, what will your ticket get you access to? Well, you’ll be able to experience TWO fireworks shows (including Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks), a FULL parade, free ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select beverages, special character appearances, holiday projections, and MORE!
So, head on over to Disney’s website and secure your tickets now! And, be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news and updates!

We purchased our tickets for our group of 3 adults to DVMAH while we were in Disney World last week. We went to MVMCP in 2019 and did enjoy it. We realize that you are getting less at this event, but one of our family members has not been to Disney World in 2 1/2 years due to the pandemic. So we thought this would be a great surprise for our November trip with them! Not sure how much we’re going to get done in the fewer hours but it is holiday time and it is a special event so we are looking forward to it. Thank goodness we did pick a date in early November and the prices were lower and also received our AP discount!
Arlene, that’s a wonderful surprise. I hope you’ll all have a great time.
