We are just a few short weeks away from Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
In preparation for the 18 month-long event, Disney World has introduced new fireworks shows, spruced up Cinderella Castle, announced special character costumes, special merchandise, and more. On top of all of this, Disney is adding 50 interactive GOLDEN character statues to the parks. All 50 statues have been announced and now the first 50th anniversary statues have been spotted in Magic Kingdom.
We recently shared that the well-known hub statues had been removed.
Now, they have been replaced with brand new golden statues. Statues of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale, Pluto, and more have arrived!
They aren’t as golden as we were expecting, but they are still a stunning addition to the park.
And they’re pretty tall!
We love the little “50” insignia on the bases!

Mickey and Minnie aren’t the only ones looking fabulous, of course. Check out Donald and Daisy…

And Goofy and Pluto, too!
Which character’s statue are you most excited to see?✨#DisneyWorld50 pic.twitter.com/0dpb8lzEyZ

We’re not surprised that Donald and Daisy are paired together. It’s hard to keep those two apart!
Donald has his hat off to visiting guests, ever the showman…
…and Daisy is looking quite sassy.
You can really see how the statues are similar to scale with Goofy’s height!
Pluto and Goofy both look super happy to see us.
Good to see you, Pluto!
Don’t worry, Chip and Dale are around too! They’re hangin’ out with a great view of the Castle.
Take a stroll around the hub and you’ll also find Dumbo and Timothy.

This one is actually one of our favorites! Dumbo is such a sweet and classic character.
Plus he looks super cool off to the side of the castle.
On the way to Liberty Square, we spotted Tinker Bell hidden in the trees!

We kind of like how hidden Tink is. It makes her seem so magical!
And Pooh and Piglet are sharing a sweet hug in the direction of Adventureland.
Welp…this is adorable.🥺 #DisneyWorld pic.twitter.com/QqY3vKZAY8

This spot is pretty close to Crystal Palace, a restaurant where you could once meet Pooh and friends!
Next, we found Gus Gus and Jacques holding up a “50” sign of their own.

It’s so cool that these two enterprising mice are helping with the 50th celebrations.
Lady and the Tramp are hanging out on Main Street, of course.
Stitch is perched on the Purple Wall, eating a 50th Anniversary sign!

He looks so vibrant against the Purple Wall!
We found Abu hanging out in Adventureland. Can you spot him?

He’s on top of the Adventureland sign!
Orange Bird is perched over in Adventureland.

In Fantasyland, we spotted a few new 50th statues, including a grinning Cheshire Cat…

…but you may have to stand on your tiptoes to see him!
The Mad Hatter had to join the Mad Tea Party, of course.
And Pinocchio is strolling along over by Prince Charming Regal Carrousel.
Look closely and you’ll also find Lumiere and Cogsworth in Fantasyland!
Here’s a picture from a bit further of a distance so you get a better sense of where to find this duo.
We can’t wait for the rest of the statues to show up around the parks! Check out this neat video of the new statues.
