The start of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations is just a few weeks away!
We’ve already seen some of the 50th anniversary character statues in the park, gotten a glimpse at the special lighting coming to Spaceship Earth, and even heard some of the music for EPCOT’s new fireworks show. Today, we spotted more 50th anniversary decor on one of Disney World’s signature forms of transportation!
Disney buses and the Disney Skyliner have already gotten some 50th Anniversary touches, and now it’s the monorail’s turn! Earlier today, we spotted one of the Disney World monorails with a special 50th anniversary wrap design.

What’s interesting about this wrap is that it doesn’t cover the entire monorail. Unlike the 50th Anniversary bus design, which covered the entire form of transportation, this one has lots of empty space where the regular monorail design is still visible.
We’ll keep an eye out for more updates on the 50th anniversary, and we’ll let you know what we find. Stay tuned for more updates!
