Disney has had a LOT of construction lately! From TRON: Lightcycle Run to the Monorail Station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the last year has seen a bunch of new construction and renovations.
Today, we noticed some big progress on renovations at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!
On our way into Magic Kingdom today, we noticed the scrim (that’s the brown cloth they use to cover construction) is starting to be taken down at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
The upper levels have finally been revealed after months of construction and renovations which includes new Incredibles-themed rooms.
We also noticed some other changes around the Contemporary Resort, like the tables over at the resort’s Joffrey’s location, Contemporary Grounds!
Plus, the elevators got a shiny new design!
In other Contemporary Resort news, Steakhouse 71 is set to replace The Wave as a new table-service dining option on October 1st, which is also Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!
We can’t wait to see the new look at Disney’s Contemporary Resort once it’s finished! We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news, so stay tuned here for more.
