Review: Donut + Candy Corn + Icing + Marshmallow = One SWEET Disney World Treat

Although the holidays seem to be sneaking their way into Disney World, it is still technically Halloween season, even if the Mickey pumpkin wreaths are now Cinderella pumpkin wreaths.

We’ve made our way through some fun Halloween snacks this year, but there’s still MORE to try. Today, we got the chance to try 2 NEW sweet Halloween snacks that donut fans might want to check out.

For a very limited time, you can now grab The Great Pumpkin Donut from Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs!

This treat is made of a regular glazed donut that is topped with vanilla icing and white, black, and orange themed sprinkles. That’s all topped off with candy corn-studded buttercream and a Halloween-themed marshmallow candy. Our particular donut was topped with one that looked like Frankenstein! We also saw some others that looked like ghosts and black cats.

So Fun!

In terms of looks, this is one EXTRA Halloween donut (and we don’t mind that one bit!). In terms of texture, the donut was very soft and the sprinkles added a nice crunch.

But, be warned: this donut is SWEET because of all of the icing and extra sweet toppings. If you like a little bit of sweetness but not a sugar overload, consider sharing this with someone else. It might be a bit difficult to eat all on your own just because of how sweet it is.

Time to Eat!

While we were at Everglazed, we also picked up the seasonal Pumpkin Cake Donut, which is one we’ve had before. This donut is a pumpkin-spiced old fashioned donut that is glazed.

Our reporter who tried this is a self-proclaimed “lover of pumpkin” and said they absolutely adored this donut. It had a wonderful crust on the outside, and was not overly sweet. The pumpkin spice flavor really comes through and you can pick up on multiple fall spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and more.

The Pumpkin Donut

The donut was soft on the inside, but still had a bit more body and texture than a regular vanilla donut. The spices are a little strong, so if you’re not a big fall of those fall flavors, you might want to skip this one. Also, the donut isn’t too sweet, so if you’re looking for something extra sweet this might not be the best choice.

But, if you love those fall spices and pumpkin, this is one we think you’ll really enjoy!
