Popcorn buckets are a big deal in Disney World!
We’ve seen such fun versions of them, too, like special ones for Halloween, buckets shaped like Christmas trees, and those that look like your favorite characters. They’re a pretty good deal if you’re staying in Disney World for a while — after paying the initial price of the popcorn bucket (which includes popcorn), you can get refills for just $2.25! So, let’s take a look at ALL of the popcorn buckets you can get in Disney World right now!
Magic Kingdom
Let’s start in Magic Kingdom! Over here you can get several different popcorn buckets. First, we have the 50th anniversary Mickey balloon popcorn buckets. These are $18 each and come in pink…
…blue…
…yellow…
…and green!
The Mickey balloon popcorn buckets aren’t always available, as they are popular and tend to sell out. But there are fairly frequent restocks, and we’ve found the balloons at the popcorn stands in The Hub, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.
As of April 15th, 2022, the yellow bucket can be found in Adventureland and Fantasyland; the blue bucket is in Frontierland and Liberty Square, and the pink bucket can be found in the hub near the castle! The green bucket was nowhere to be found on our last visit.
There is also a Casey Jr. popcorn bucket that is occasionally found in Storybook Circus. It looks like the train!
How cute is this guy?! We weren’t able to spot him anywhere on our last visit, but he does get restocked often, so we’ll be keeping an eye out.
EPCOT
For a while, the only popcorn bucket in EPCOT was the standard bucket with 50th Anniversary decorations around it. This one is typically available at popcorn stands around the park, and it costs $13.
However, we recently added the new 50th Anniversary Disney Skyliner Popcorn bucket to our collection, and you can buy it at the popcorn stand next to Creations Shop!
It’s $19 and it has Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Minnie in the design. How fun! We also spotted it at popcorn stands in Hollywood Studios, so check there as well to find it.
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios is home to Galaxy’s Edge and other Star Wars attractions, so they have a few Star Wars popcorn buckets available! First, we have the MSE-6 Repair Droid popcorn bucket which you can find at Kat Saka’s Kettle in Galaxy’s Edge.
You can get this one for $19.99.
There is also a Millennium Falcon popcorn bucket that comes and goes from the park.
Last time we saw it, it was listed for $24.99 — but we haven’t seen this one recently.
And, you can find a regular Star Wars popcorn bucket around the park as well.
This one is $13.
Animal Kingdom
In Animal Kingdom, there is another version of a standard popcorn bucket that’s themed to KiteTails, the epic show where kites fly around above the water and have some incredible crash landings.
This is a perfect thing to grab to eat while watching the show! You can get it for $12 and fill it with the 50th anniversary Chili Lime Caramel Corn mix.
Also over at Animal Kingdom, you might find the Simba popcorn bucket!
We recently saw it in Africa at the Mahindi and Baridi Baridi stands for $16.99.
Multiple Locations
There are a couple popcorn buckets you can find in more than just one place. You can find the 50th anniversary standard popcorn bucket (that we mentioned seeing in EPCOT) around the Disney World parks and at Disney Springs.
This bucket is $13.
And, the very popular Mickey Mouse 50th anniversary popcorn bucket can also be found in more than one place! Although this bucket has been MIA recently, in the past we’ve seen him in Animal Kingdom and in Hollywood Studios. It’s possible that it’ll pop up again, so keep an eye out!
This popcorn bucket is $18.99, and there is also a matching Minnie Mouse sipper!
Well, there ya have it — those are all of the popcorn buckets you can find right now in Disney World! We’ll keep you updated if any new buckets drop, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Hi Madison,
Are you saying that the gold xmas tree popcorn bucket is still available? Now, as in January 18-19?
Hi Judy, I can say for certain that I saw it at Animal Kingdom last Sunday (Jan. 16th) but the popcorn buckets seem to move around and pop up randomly with no notice. If you go to the parks, keep your eyes peeled and never hesitate to ask a Cast Member if they’ve seen a certain bucket. They can be really helpful.
I would like to purchase 2 Figment popcorn buckets and 1 light up Xmas tree. How do I go about it.
Thanks
Hi Karen,
Thanks for reaching out! The Figment popcorn buckets are currently unavailable because there was such a high demand for them that they sold out. The Christmas tree light up bucket (gold) can be purchased in the park if it is still available. The last time we saw it was Sunday at Animal Kingdom. If any popcorn buckets make a surprise return we will update!
I just saw the gold Christmas tree tonight at AK 1/19
Does the Epcot still have the 3 flavors of popcorn: Ranch, Bleu Cheese & buffalo? (I think this was the 3 flavors). We were there 3 years ago and mixed the flavors together and couldn’t get enough of it! So delicious and we have been craving it ever since! Hoping to have some when we come for a visit this summer!
Thanks Missy, and DFB Gigi,
I’m planning a trip to go to Disney this upcoming weekend and hope to see either the xmas tree bucket or any of the colored balloons, I doubt if figment will restock.—if you do see any them this week please post it so I’ll know where to go. –Judy
I would like to purchase the original Toy Story Alien popcorn bucket before my trip to Disney World. Are there any discounts on popcorn if you bring an older popcorn bucket to the park?
Hi Erin!
Unfortunately you can not get refills on older popcorn buckets. The buckets are redesigned seasonally with little tweaks to the design here and there. That doesn’t mean that you can’t still use your bucket, you just can’t get the discounted refills on it.
I am trying to get the Mickey Mouse and Minnie popcorn buckets . I am going to magic kingdom on feb.2 2022 where can I get them what store or stand has them .
Hi Carolyn! The popcorn buckets seem to move around so keep your eye out for them at all the popcorn stands. We’ve seen the Mickey popcorn bucket most recently at Animal Kingdom. I’ve even been stopped by other guests asking where I got a specific popcorn bucket so if you happen to see someone with that bucket, most likely they’ll be happy to tell you where they found it that day as well.
DFB Gigi and Missy,
Happy to report that I was able to get the gold X-mas tree light-up popcorn bucket at AK this past weekend AND was able to get the balloon (pink and blue) bucket at MK.–soo happy. Unfortunately, the Jack Skelington head bucket was out of stock. Thanks for the post….
Thanks so much for the update, Judy! I’m so excited you were able to find the buckets you wanted!
Awesome site. Going to WDW next week. Any clue what is found at Disney Springs? Thanks
Has anyone seen the Mickey Mouse 50th Anniversary Popcorn Bucket anywhere lately? I will be in the parks all next week (Feb 20-26) and would love to get one. Thank in advance!!
I would love an All Ears Fan that collects popcorn buckets to show us on IG or Tik Tok how exactly do you store them… like what’s your display set up because I am insanely confused what you all are doing with all these buckets.
Hi! I’ve NEVER done a popcorn bucket at Disney (or gotten popcorn there for that matter) BUT I think it is a great inexpensive refillable snack for our family of 6 going next month. Do you have a list of popcorn locations? If so please let me know where I can find it on your site. TIA!
Hi Chevy! We have a post where we talk about where to go to refill your popcorn buckets in each park. Just click here to read more! 🙂
Hi DFB Gigi,
going to Epcot this weekend, any new popcorn buckets coming out to watch out for?
Judy
Hi Judy! I hope you have an amazing weekend! Disney has not released any new popcorn buckets since Figment sold out, but you might find one of the 50th Anniversary buckets at the popcorn carts. I was hoping for a surprise Orange Bird bucket, but no such luck! Haha
Love these, but what I really want is a collapsible popcorn bucket 😂
Let me know when another figment bucket shows up
We got the conventional 50th bucket in March 2022. It was fine and easy to attach to a backpack. My daughter bought the falcon one previous. That one is a pain to clean. Popcorn gets stuck in the corners. That happens when you buy popcorn buckets that are in the shape of something.
Hi again, I saw on popcorn day that you could say a special phrase in Galaxy’s edge to get the mse droid popcorn bucket. Is this still a thing?
Hi Chevy! Unfortunately the special phrase deal ended on February 28th, but you can still purchase the mouse droid at Kat Saka’s Kettle. 🙂
Hi,
Do you know if the Jack Skeleton head popcorn bucket still available? I’m going to Disney this weekend. Pleae se let me know. thanks
