We’ve seen several buffets return to Disney World in the past few months.
Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has breakfast and dinner buffets again, and family-style dining switched back to a buffet at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will have breakfast and dinner buffets again starting February 15th. And now, yet another buffet is back in Disney World!
Several breakfast items have returned to Ale & Compass Restaurant! The restaurant is located at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
Ale & Compass has been serving breakfast for a while, but now there are even more options to choose from. In addition to à la carte entrées, you can now “enhance” your breakfast with buffet items like pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, and house-made cheddar biscuits with country gravy. Uh, YUM!
We headed into the restaurant to check out these returning items. When you sit down, you can choose from the normal entrées or go with the buffet option.
The buffet is $23, and it includes seasonal fruit, assorted yogurt parfaits, chilled overnight oats, assorted breakfast pastries, house-made granola, cheddar biscuits with country sausage gravy, and warm cinnamon rolls.
If you order the buffet, an entrée item and drink (coffee, tea, juice, or soft drink) are included as well.

The buffet is walk-up, and you are required to wear a face covering while you’re up getting food.
Once you have your plate full, you can head back to your table to eat. You’re welcome to revisit the buffet and grab more whenever you’re ready.
On to what you really came here for: Let’s take a look at all of the items on the buffet!
First of all, there are a few options for fresh fruit, including pineapple, strawberries, and grapes.
There were also some whole fruits like apples, oranges, and bananas.
Then there are some parfaits, including blueberry and vanilla yogurt…
…chilled oats with strawberries…
…and strawberry yogurt.
There was also a bowl of house-made granola that you could add to your parfait to make it a build-your-own treat.
The granola does contain nuts, and there was a sign next to it so that you can avoid those if you have an allergy.
Next up were some pastries, including croissants…
…assorted muffins (which were blueberry and chocolate chip when we visited)…
…and warm cinnamon rolls.
If you’re looking for something more savory, you can find cheddar biscuits…
…which you can add sausage gravy to for a true Southern-style breakfast.
We grabbed a little of everything, and we’ll have a full review available for you soon!
Breakfast is served at Ale & Compass from 7:30AM to 11AM every day.
