Whether you’re visiting Disney World for one day or 7+ days, you’re probably trying to pack as much as humanly possible into your park days because…well…there’s just A LOT to do!

Between dining reservations, attractions, shows, and more, it can be hard to do it all. But, if you take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, or even just every minute that a park is open, you can probably come close! But, today you’ll have LESS time to get it all in if you’re visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios — here’s why!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios usually stays open until 9PM — however — the park will be closing at 5PM today. This means that most table service restaurants will only have dinner served from 4-4:35PM and entertainment showtimes will also be affected. For example, the last performance of Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage at 4PM, the last performance of For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at 4:30PM, and the last performance of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! at 4:30PM.
You’ll have less time in Hollywood Studios today!
Disney hasn’t shared why the park will be closing four hours early today, but we have seen other parks close early like this in the past for special events. And, while you’ll have less time in the park, this could be a great day to take advantage of the lower crowds that we tend to see when parks close early and potentially park hop to another spot later in the day!
