EPCOT is going through a pretty major transformation at the moment!

EPCOT is changing A LOT!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is now open along with the Connections Cafe and Eatery, with much more still on the way! We recently got a lot of updates about the EPCOT transformation like CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, and a new character meet-and-greet spot! As the park changes, the guide map needs to change, as well, and today we picked up a new version of the map that includes the latest park additions!

We’re in EPCOT today bringing you all of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind news and updates, and we spotted new park maps!

New park map!

The map has a picture of Spaceship Earth on the front, along with the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary logo and lots of SPARKLE! Unfold it, and you’ll see information about the 50th Anniversary in EPCOT, including information about Cosmic Rewind and the park’s fireworks show, Harmonious.

The World’s Most Magical Celebration

If you unfold it from there, you’ll see the map for the park, with some updates! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is located in the bottom left, in the World Discovery neighborhood. Next to it, you’ll also see a yellow building that is labelled “Future Home of PLAY!” This is going to be the future PLAY! Pavilion that is currently in the works for the park.

The map has also information about Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind including the height requirement, accessibility information, and what the ride’s all about!
