Snacking around Disney World and Disneyland is a favorite pastime for many people (hi, it’s us, we’re people).
From pretzels and popcorn to beignets, Dole Whip, and cheeseburger pods, the Disney parks have plenty of snack options for just about anyone. We recently visited Disney California Adventure for their special Grad Nite After Hours event and tried a NEW sweet treat that we just had to tell you about!
We tried the Cherry Cone-Vertible at Disneyland’s Grad Nite event! This year’s special, hard-ticketed event featured endless thrills, laughs, entertainment and of course — special food and beverages.
Over at the Cozy Cone Motel, they were serving up the Cherry Cone-Vertible, a cinnamon bread cone filled with vanilla soft-serve and warm cherries for $7.99.
This dessert was simple and absolutely delicious! The cinnamon bread cone was warm, fluffy, and had the perfect amount of cinnamon-sugar sweetness to it. It wasn’t too tough or chewy and was easy to bite into.
The cone was filled with regular vanilla soft-serve, which wasn’t anything special but still good — but the warm cherries took this snack to the next level. The cold ice cream mixed with the warmth of the cherries was a fun element, and the vanilla cut the tartness of the cherries.
This treat is definitely for cherry lovers, so if you’re not a fan of the flavor or just don’t like fruity desserts, we’d probably skip this one. But, if you love cherry pie a la mode, this is kind of like that all wrapped up in a cone!
