Even though we’re still several months away, Disney is already making big announcements about the holiday season!
We’ve got updates on the return of celebrations at Disney World, like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. But also, there are some exciting things coming to Disneyland Resort, and we just got details about some major entertainment options!
Disney has officially announced that TWO holiday nighttime spectaculars are returning this year. First up is the “Believe… In Holiday Magic” fireworks show at Disneyland Park. This show features a medley of holiday tunes and ends with a magical snowfall around the park — something that’s not often seen in that area of California!
Also coming back this year is the World of Color – Season of Light show in Paradise Bay at Disney California Adventure. It’s a blend of holiday tunes with classic moments from Disney and Pixar films, all highlighted by dancing fountains and lighting effects. We can’t wait to watch it again!
Besides these offerings, more fun will be returning to Disneyland Resort as well, like the 7-foot gingerbread house in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. We’ll also be getting characters in holiday outfits, new merchandise, and of course, plenty of holiday snacks!
If you’re interested in spending the holidays on both coasts, you may want to check out our list of everything returning to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom in Disney World. This year, fan-favorite entertainment (including stage shows, the parade, and the holiday fireworks) is returning, along with ride overlays and free cookies! We can’t wait to check out all the holiday celebrations in the coming months.
