Connections Cafe and Eatery is one of EPCOT’s newest restaurants and a popular spot to grab some quick food.

Choose from classic theme park eats like burgers, pizza, and salads (with some interesting flavors!) and be quickly on your way to the next ride. Although Connections just opened in April, one menu item just got a major update!
Pizza has CHANGED at Connections Cafe! Not sure what we mean? Don’t worry, we’re going to walk you through the changes with the Meatball Pizza and the Five-Cheese Pizza!
Pizza looks different!
This is what the Meatball Pizza originally looked like back in April. The meatballs were HUGE and the pizza also came with a small Mediterranean side salad for $10.99. The crust was also pretty thick.
Give us all the cheese
Now when you order the Meatball Pizza you get two slices of pizza and no side salad for $10.99. This pizza is made with beef and pork meatballs, San Marzano Tomato-Basil Sauce, and a cheese blend.

The meatballs are smaller now and we found them to be juicy but not greasy, but there were still some big pieces of meat. We thought the Meatball Pizza was overall pretty good!

We also ordered the Five-Cheese Pizza for $10.49, made with San Marzano Tomato-Basil Sauce and a cheese blend. We thought this was not the best slice we’ve had in Disney World — but not the worst either.

Both pizzas have a thinner crust than in the past, which was cooked well and nice and crispy, and they each had a good amount of cheese. Cornmeal can be found on the bottom of the slices but it wasn’t so much that it interfered with the flavor of the slice.

So if you’re hoping to get the same kind of pizza you had earlier this year in Connections Cafe, you’re out of luck. But the good news is that there are lots of places to get pizza in EPCOT! Stop by Sunshine Seasons for a Pizza Roll, get a reservation at Via Napoli for some truly tasty pizza, or you might be able to stop by Pizza al Taglio if it’s open during your visit.

With all the food choices on Disney Property, wasting a meal with a Pizza is like getting a Subway, good, but also available on any street corner in America.
Via Napoli is one of the best pizzas I ever had. And I come from an area with a strong Italian presence! The breakfast pizza at Trattoria al Forno is really good too – a little heavy, but the crust is really tasty. I thought the pie at Mama Melrose was OK, definitely better than Rizzo or Pizzafari.
