UPDATE: Hollywood Studios has sold out as well.
Although it’s still technically spooky season, Disney World is already looking ahead to the holidays.
The first holiday merchandise has shown up in the parks, dining and dessert party reservations for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are now available, and we’re gearing up for EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays. We’re starting to see park pass reservations disappear for November and Christmas Day, and now another big day in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT has officially sold out.
If you’re looking to visit Magic Kingdom or EPCOT on New Year’s Eve, you might just be out of luck. Right now, park pass reservations are completely sold out for theme park ticket and resort guests. Annual Passholders still currently have availability.Â
This means that if you had plans to go to Magic Kingdom or EPCOT for New Year’s Eve and have not yet booked your park pass reservations, you may not be able to get into those parks first thing in the morning and may have to try to hop if you have the park hopper ticket. However, we often see Disney release more reservations for big holidays as they get closer, so our best advice is to keep checking and grab that reservation if and when it becomes available again.
If you do have park pass reservations for Magic Kingdom or EPCOT on that day, you’ll also need to make sure you have all your advance dining reservations made because that’s going to be a busy day in the park! Lines are sure to be long for rides, too, so you may want to consider purchasing Disney Genie+ to have Lightning Lane access to attractions. If you plan to park hop, just know that days like these are when the parks hit capacity. So you may have a harder time hopping to Magic Kingdom or EPCOT than usual.
