If you’re visiting Disney World soon, you likely have plans to visit Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But don’t forget about Disney Springs!
Disney Springs is a shopping and dining center with lots to do. It has dozens of restaurants (including some of our favorites in all of Disney World) as well as huge gift shops and even a few attractions. We visit frequently to check out any changes here, so come along with us to see what’s NEW at Disney Springs!
Disney Springs Food Updates
The Polite Pig
The Polite Pig has announced another new side dish! The new dish is an Heirloom Apple Salad with chicory, red watercress, spiced pecans, golden raisins, currant, and spiced cider syrup.
We’re not sure how long this dish will be around, so keep an eye on the menu to make sure it’s there if you are planning to head that way soon!
City Works Eatery & Pour House
City Works Eatery & Pour House has announced that they’ll be rolling out new menu additions starting on November 15th. The restaurant is known for its “sports viewing experience” and having more than 90 beers on tap, but soon there will be multiple new food items to check out during your visit.
What’s coming soon? Here’s what City Works has announced:
- Ahi Tuna BLT — Made with Togarashi-spiced seared rare tuna, hardwood smoked bacon, arugula, vine-ripened tomato, sriracha garlic aioli, and served on challah bread.
- Creole Chicken — Beer battered shrimp, Asian slaw, chili aioli, sriracha, sesame seeds, and micro cilantro, served with a white corn tortilla.
- Grilled Cheese — Grilled, marinated French cut chicken breast, steamed white rice, andouille sausage, corn succotash, creole butter, chili oil, and scallions.
And as an added bonus, the refreshed menu will have a Smoked section, where you can choose from a selection of smoked meats that are paired with various side dishes. We’re excited to see what’s offered starting mid-November!
Wine Bar George
Wine Bar George in Disney Springs is one of our consistently best-reviewed restaurants, and we highly recommend visiting if you get the chance during your vacation. For those who plan on stopping by for brunch, we’ve got news — there are two new menu items!
Now available during Wine Country Brunch, you can order the French Toast, served with caramel apples, whipped marshmallow, and honey. If you’re looking to eat something savory, try the Shakshuka with a coddled egg and grilled ciabatta instead.
We’ve eaten at EVERY Disney Springs restaurant. These are the BEST.
Disney Springs Construction Updates
The fountain located in front of the Lime parking garage has been under construction after part of it broke off recently.
On a recent trip, we saw that it was covered with some material as Disney Cast Members repaired the fountain.

Disney Springs Merchandise Updates
The new bejeweled 50th anniversary Minnie ears that we saw at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are also available at the World of Disney gift shop in Disney Springs!
These ears cost $34.99 in Disney World, but you can also buy them online at shopDisney. However, they’re a little more expensive online — shopDisney has them for $39.99.
