Did you know that there are FREE souvenirs in Disney World?!
Yes, some things really are free including birthday and celebration buttons. But one free souvenir that people often overlook is the park map! The maps are a great keepsake to remember your trip by and they are completely free. It’s also fun to collect them each time you go because they are constantly changing! And recently, we spotted a new park map at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We picked up a map at the front entrance of the park where we noticed there were some updates to the park map. First of all, check out the new cover!
This was the previous cover with a shot from the Finding Nemo Musical, but now we are back to a park map with the Tree of Life on the front.
It looks so nice next to the real Tree of Life!

We found that the COVID-19 warning has been removed from the map. This comes after COVID-19 warnings were removed from the Disney World website a couple months ago. The tips and information look the same!
In the description part of the map, we noticed that KiteTails was removed. The 50th anniversary show officially closed at the end of September.
We noticed that Dino Diner had gone missing from DinoLand and now it is missing from the map as well. This may be the beginnings of Disney’s reimagining for DinoLand that was teased at the D23 Expo earlier this year. Nothing has been confirmed as far as a reimagining, but it seems Dino Diner is a thing of the past.
