There’s a seriously underrated activity you can do in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
If you’ve never taken the Wildlife Express to Rafiki’s Planet Watch and Conservation Station, you’re missing out on a lot of fun. Not only can you pet animals there, but you can also watch Disney veterinarians at work WITH animals. On top of all that, you can also learn to draw Disney characters — and now three new characters are available in those classes.
If you head on over to the Animation Experience, you can now take a 25-minute class from an actual Disney animator to learn to draw characters from Zootopia! Animators will teach you step-by-step how to draw Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, or Flash! You’ll also learn a little more about Zootopia and how real-world animals inspired its characters.
You’ll also get to hear from the directors of the new Disney+ series, Zootopia+, as they discuss how Animal Kingdom helped inspire the original Zootopia movie and the new show! Of course, you’ll also learn more about Disney’s conservation efforts.
So when you get a chance, head on over to the Animation Experience to learn to draw these underrated characters!
Zootopia+ is now available on Disney+ — so be sure to go watch that, too!
If you’re looking for even MORE to do in Animal Kingdom, don’t sleep on all the walking trails that will put you face-to-face with the animals that helped inspire Zootoopia! You’ll get a chance to see a variety of wildlife on the trails, as well as on the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction.
