Has This Disney World Fast Food Spot CLOSED for Good? What We Know!

Disney World is going through quite the transformation — and that includes a pretty massive renovation to Disney’s BoardWalk!

Not only is the hotel getting a makeover, but the BoardWalk Bakery also turned into the BoardWalk Deli too, and another restaurant is on the way, as well. But, one spot on the BoardWalk has left us a little bit confused and wondering exactly what’s been going on with it. Here’s what we’re seeing.

At Disney’s BoardWalk, you’ll find entertainment, dining, shopping, and more. There are bars, table service restaurants, and places to grab a quick bite to eat — but one quick service spot has been closed pretty frequently lately, and recently we noticed it hasn’t opened at all.

The BoardWalk To Go window has historically served up deep-fried treats including fried mac and cheese bites and corn dogs. You could even grab a meal combo built around a hot dog, cheeseburger, or pulled pork sandwich in the past — but we haven’t seen BoardWalk To Go window open for a bit now.

In fact, when we tried to search for the fast food eatery’s hours on the Disney World website, we kept getting error messages and couldn’t get the BoardWalk To Go page to load. We even had a reporter check with a Cast Member who works on the BoardWalk, but we weren’t totally convinced by their answer.

We wanted to follow up on this with Disney, so we reached out via chat on the Disney World website. The Cast Member shared that from what they could see, BoardWalk To Go was still listed as a dining option but couldn’t see any hours listed at the moment.

So, whether or not this quick service spot is closed temporarily, for good, or reopening as something new remains to be seen.
