A Popular Hollywood Studios Restaurant Was Unexpectedly CLOSED in Disney World

Amid all the hustle and bustle in Disney World, a modest little snack spot with a quiet but loyal fanbase serves some of the tastiest foods in Hollywood Studios. Any guesses?

If you guessed BaseLine Tap House, congrats! You are a TRUE Disney foodie. During a recent trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed something strange happening at the restaurant.

You never know what Disney World attractions or shows may close without warning, but keep in mind that some restaurants and snack spots may randomly close throughout the day, too. Recently, we noticed that BaseLine Tap House was unexpectedly closed in Disney World.

When we passed by the area, we noticed that the doors were closed and Cast Members were posted outside the building. According to a Cast Member, a technical glitch caused the closure, but the team hoped to reopen later in the day.

Guests were not allowed inside, though we saw a sizable crowd waiting nearby in hopes that the restaurant would reopen soon. After all, once you start craving one of those huge, warm soft pretzels, it’s practically impossible to stop thinking about it! (Speaking from personal experience, anyway)

In the meantime, there are plenty of other sharable appetizers and bite-size snacks you can find around Hollywood Studios. When you find your plans are thwarted in Disney World, don’t panic! We recommend checking out The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge or Ronto Roasters for a quality meal.
