Annual Passholders just got a new perk over in EPCOT!
Disney World Annual Passholders have a few different perks they can use throughout the parks — discounts on merchandise, special snacks and items, a specific entrance, and more. But if you’re heading into EPCOT soon, you’ll want to check out the new lounge APs have all to themselves!
We got to head in to get a first look at the new Annual Passholder Lounge in Sunshine Seasons ourselves today. We got some new details on this lounge recently, and now it’s time to check it out in person together.
The lounge is meant to be a space for Passholders to cool off and take a break in a reserved area. There are exclusive snacks available for Passholders at Sunshine Seasons as well:
- A Spark of Grape Shake — Grape, guava, passionfruit, orange, and lime (this descrption kinda reminds us of the Grape Smoothie from Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey from the 2023 Festival of the Arts!)
- Raspberry “Lemonade” Tart — Shortbread tart filled with lemon mousse, raspberry jam, and raspberry mousse
It’s time to go in! We headed into The Land Pavilion and found the entrance to the lounge. Just look for the big Figment Annual Passholder sign.

You will need to have a Park Pass Reservation to enter EPCOT in order to enjoy the lounge. However, Park Pass Reservations are NOT required for Passholders if you plan to enter EPCOT after 2PM (subject to blockout dates).
A cute detail we found in the lounge is that the tables look like the Annual Pass cards, like this Mickey one.
But we’re going to sit down at the Figment table!
We also found some lockers with charging stations inside for Annual Passholders to use if they need them.
Btw, did we mention you can grab some FREE snacks here? That includes some M&Ms and nuts.
We’re here to try out those two EXCLUSIVE Annual Passholder treats. They’re both Figment-themed!
First up, there’s the Raspberry “Lemonade” Tart, which is a Shortbread Tart filled with Lemon Mousse, Raspberry Jam, and Raspberry Mousse for $6.99.
Along with the new Annual Passholder lounge in EPCOT are two new Figment treats! 🌈

This treat is so sweet and fruity. You get a lot of the raspberry flavor with it, too.
Although it is VERY sweet, the tart itself added a nice crisp texture to the whole. The filling was light and fluffy. We thought this was just okay, but it’s not something we think we’d get again. But it is SUPER cute.
However, we were blown away by A Spark of Grape Shake for $8.99. Its flavors include Grape, Guava, Passion Fruit, Orange, and Lime.

That might seem like a lot, but it’s DELICIOUS. It reminded us of a grape Jolly Rancher.
However, we will warn you that this is a LITTLE different, so not everyone might enjoy it. But if you like drinking candy, GO FOR IT. The topping was also really delicious. It was like someone took a Kool-Aid packet and whipped it into the cream on top. The result is fruity and flavorful! We would definitely order this again.
Keep in mind that this lounge will only be available from May 31st through June 30th, 2023, and guests can expect to find the area a good place to cool off and get some special snacks at an additional cost. It’s also available on a first-come-first-serve basis, so we suggest heading over there ASAP if you’re interested.

I guess that’s a nice perk, but why is it only available for 1 month?

Things they are a changing at WDW for sure. All of a sudden they seem to want the annual pass holders, even though they spend less that day park guests. Hmmmm
Richard Mercer says
It may be NEW, but there has been an AP lounge in Epcot in the past. My memory is that the most recent one was in the Imagination building, and you had to enter the gift shop, then after showing your AP credentials you went upstairs…. and there was some other location before that.
Amy says
The lounge Richard Mercer is referencing is actually the DVC Lounge and not the AP lounge.
(correct me I’m wrong, DFB)
The only AP lounge at EPCOT that I ever was aware of were the ones they’d have during Food & Wine, notably the best one, IMHO, was in the Festival Center in the old Wonders of Life pavilion. Then it moved – again only during the festival – to the 2nd floor of the American Adventure pavilion. These were sponsored by Chase at the time.
Richard Mercer says
Yes Amy you are correct. I remenbered that lounge but not why I got in!
