UPDATED April 17, 2024
DO NOT BELIEVE THE LIES YOU HEAR OUT THERE! Eating on a budget and/or quickly in Disney World does NOT mean you have to stuff your face with boring or bland food.
Yes, there are some seriously awesome and delicious Table Service restaurants in Disney World, but those will take up a good amount of money and time in your day. There are plenty of Counter Service (or Quick Service or “Fast Food”) restaurants in Disney World with eats that are incredibly tasty, satisfying/filling, and way less painful on your budget. But which are the best? Where should YOU eat in 2024 when it comes to Quick Service restaurants? We have an answer.
Now, keep in mind this is just our list of some of the best Quick Service restaurants in Disney World for 2024, but it is by no means an extensive list of the best fast places to eat. There are plenty of kiosks that we didn’t mention here that do serve up some awesome food (Mr. Kamal’s in Animal Kingdom, we’re lookin’ at you!). Some spots might not have menus that impress us as a whole but do have some stand-out dishes (hellloooo Barbecued Beef Brisket Bowl from Fairfax Fare in Hollywood Studios).
Still, we think this list will give you an AWESOME starting place for your meal planning in 2024! And remember that the Disney Dining Plan is back, which could influence some of your planning.
Alright, enough chat, let’s get to the FOOD.
Magic Kingdom
Columbia Harbour House
Over at Magic Kingdom, Columbia Harbour House ranks high on our list of Quick Service restaurants for many reasons.
For starters, its menu items are a bit more on the unique side. Sure, you do have the chicken strips here (great for picky eaters), but you’ll also find a Lobster Roll (a classic that works SO well)…
…New England Shrimp Boil (flavorful with lots going on!), Grilled Shrimp Skewer (the shrimp have tons of flavor and are buttery), and New England Clam Chowder.
Things do lean heavily into the seafood side of things here, but that can be great on a hot day when you need a meal that’ll fill you up but not necessarily weigh you down.
In terms of the setting, it also gets major points. The seating upstairs is a real highlight, particularly if you can get a table near the windows overlooking Liberty Square down below.
Fairly reasonable prices, a unique menu, plenty of seating, and great quality food make this one of the BEST Quick Service spots in all of Disney World. Oh, and there’s Mobile Order too — what more could you want?!

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments has a much more limited menu compared to Columbia Harbour House but it is still absolutely delicious and a great place to stop for quick eats.
For breakfast, stop by for a GIANT Mickey-shaped waffle with strawberries and powdered sugar — YUM. Totally shareable and delicious, this is a great breakfast treat.
Or, you can opt for the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich (also available after breakfast time) which comes with Strawberries, Banana, Blueberries, and Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread. Again, it’s a great shareable portion for the price ($8.49) and oh-so-delicious.
Other tasty options here include the Hand-Dipped Corn Dog (during snack time)…
…the Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich (another awesome portion size and an item PACKED with flavor), funnel cakes, and sometimes even specialty treats.
Again, the menu isn’t extensive, but if a corn dog and/or waffle sandwich sounds good to you, take our advice and STOP HERE. You won’t regret it.

EPCOT
Connections Eatery
Connections Eatery is one of the newer dining spots in EPCOT and is well worth the trip. The menu here is pretty diverse, making it great for groups where people want different things. There are burgers, a chicken sandwich, pizza options, salads, and even a plant-based eat so you’ll have ALL of your bases covered.
The toppings on the French Bistro Burger are delicious (it has caramelized onions, bacon, brie, mushrooms, and Dijon mayonnaise), the flavors on the Margherita pizza are bold, fresh, and tangy, and General Tso Chicken Salad packs a ton of flavor in a GIANT portion size.
Plus, there are unique drinks to choose from, the delicious Leige waffle, plenty of seating (in AC!), and even a specialty sauce to check out.
Grab a table, place your Mobile Order, sit back, relax, and enjoy — this is a great spot for a satisfying EPCOT meal.

Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
Want to eat a fast meal at EPCOT but still feel like you traveled to another country? Stop by Les Halles in the France pavilion. There are SO many options on the menu here — ranging from quick snacks and desserts to sandwiches, quiche options, and soups.
Some of our favorites include the Croque Monsieur (how can you go wrong with a toasted ham and cheese with bechamel sauce and extra toasted Gruyere cheese on top?!), the Pain Lard Fromage (a bacon and cheese roll!), and Lobster Bisque in a Bread Bowl.
Oh yeah, and there are PLENTY of desserts to pick from too. This is the type of place where you can get a whole bunch of things to share with the group or to make a more full and complete meal.
Seating is limited inside so just keep that in mind, but it is the type of dining experience that’ll have you feeling like you traveled the globe all in a matter of steps.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue
Finally, we have to give a shout-out to Regal Eagle in the American Adventure. Sure, American and BBQ-style eats might not be the most unique thing to get at EPCOT, but the food here is filling and delicious.
There are plenty of options here too — from ribs to smoked chicken, a BBQ Burger served on garlic toast, baked beans with burnt ends, loaded fries, and dessert options like the impressive s’mores brownie.
Combine that with the Muppets theming and you’ve got a real win on your hands.

Hollywood Studios
Woody’s Lunch Box
If you want fast, delicious eats in Hollywood Studios, Woody’s Lunch Box is one of the BEST places to go.
There’s a great mix of sweet and savory options here, with the Totchos (nachos made with tater tots), BBQ Brisket Melt, and Lunch Box Tarts being particular highlights. And sometimes nothing will hit the spot better than the grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Seating is outdoors and limited (which isn’t the best) but we still think the eats are worth it.
And keep in mind that there’s a breakfast menu here too so that can be a good place to start the day!

Ronto Roasters
The selection here isn’t all that expansive but Ronto Roasters is still one of the best places to get quick eats in Hollywood Studios. The Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap is a WINNER (Plant-based Egg, Smoky Chickpea-Onion Slaw, and Roasted Tomato Sauce wrapped in Pita Bread), as is the Ronto Morning Wrap.
The traditional Ronto Wrap is also incredibly good (Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, and Tangy Slaw wrapped in Pita Bread)…
…or you can opt for the impressive and surprising Zuchii Wrap (Grilled Zucchini, Smoky Chickpea-Onion Slaw, Creamy Garlic-Tahini Sauce, and Fresh Cilantro wrapped in Pita Bread).
Basically, yes, you’re looking at a variety of wraps with pita bread and some variety of fillings. But they’re filling, flavorful, and some of the best eats in all of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Just be warned — Ronto Roasters is only open until around 3PM each day. After that, you’ll still find the traditional Ronto Wrap over at Docking Bay 7, but if you’re after something like the Zuchii Wrap, you’ll be out of luck. So time your visit carefully!

Animal Kingdom
Satu’li Canteen
Satu’li Canteen is by far one of the most beloved Quick Service restaurants in Disney World and for good reason. First, there’s plenty of seating in a beautifully themed environment within Pandora — The World of Avatar.
But, more importantly, the menu here features unique items you may not expect to find in a theme park (much less at a fast food spot in a theme park) and they DELIVER when it comes to quality and taste.
The Cheeseburger Steamed Pods (essentially bao buns with cheeseburger filling) are a SOLID choice and will give you McDonald’s vibes in the best way possible. Plus, while they might look unique, they’re easily accessible for those with pickier palates.
The customizable bowls are a highlight as well. Pick from beef, shrimp, chicken, and more as your protein choice. Then, select what base and sauce you want, and you can create a dish that’s just right for you. It’s an awesome spot to bring the whole gang because they can each get something that fits their preference.
Pair that with some unique drinks and eye-catching desserts (as well as real silverware and plates — a nice upgrade) and you won’t leave here feeling hungry!

Flame Tree Barbecue
Another delicious option in Animal Kingdom is Flame Tree Barbecue. Seating here is plentiful (though outdoors).
But the eats are really where it’s at. The portion sizes here are substantial, making them well worth the price. A particular favorite of ours is the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork, but there are also ribs, chicken, and pulled pork options, along with drinks and typically a cupcake or two.
The key word here really is “hearty.” The meals here will fill you up in a good way, so just maybe consider riding Expedition Everest before you fill your stomach with a barbecue meal. 😆

Disney World Hotels
Capt. Cook’s
Over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a Quick Service restaurant worth the visit (even if you aren’t staying at this hotel).
At breakfast, Capt. Cook’s serves up the iconic Tonga Toast (Banana-stuffed Sourdough Bread, Battered, Deep-fried, and Dusted with Cinnamon-Sugar served with Bacon or Sausage) and yes, it’s as good as it sounds.
Lunch and dinner are full of even more delicious and unique eats. Sure, you’ll find your standard chicken nuggets and burgers here (great for picky eaters) but where this menu excels is in its tropical-inspired eats like the Pulled Pork Nachos (the house-made chips served with these are a must-get), Aloha Pork Sandwich, and Thai Coconut Meatballs.
Pair that with a DOLE Whip from Pineapple Lanai and you’ve got one tasty meal!
Check out our review of some of the Capt. Cook’s eats here!
Primo Piatto
If you’re looking for a Quick Service restaurant that truly feels unique, head over to Primo Piatto at Disney’s Riviera Resort. For breakfast, you can start your day off with things like the Croque Madame (French Ham and Swiss with a Fried Egg served with choice of side) or Blueberry-Lemon Pancakes (HELLO THERE BEAUTIFUL).
For lunch or dinner, you can opt for some pizza, burgers, a Croque Monsieur, or even something like a Tuna Niçoise Salad.
Things here just feel upscale. You’ll feel a stark difference in quality and options compared to your regular hotel food court. So we think it’s well worth the visit!
See more about Primo Piatto here!
The Cake Bake Shop Bakery
This next spot is sort of an honorable mention but we couldn’t make this list without it! The Cake Bake Shop is set to open on Disney’s BoardWalk in 2024 and it’ll feature both a table service restaurant and a to-go bakery side.
The bakery will feature cookies, French macarons, brownies, dessert bars, pies, cheesecakes, cakes, and MORE. Basically, it’ll be dessert HEAVEN.
If it’s anything like the Cake Bake Shop’s other locations, we’re in for a serious sugar rush of the BEST kind.
See what the Cake Bake Shop could be like!
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
This next one might be more of a “kiosk” than a Counter Service spot, but we couldn’t make this list and not mention it! Also coming to Disney’s BoardWalk in 2023 is a Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs location.
They’re already serving folks in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney but we cannot wait to have them join Disney World’s lineup.
This spot serves up — you guessed it…corn dogs. But these aren’t any ordinary corn dogs.  The official Disney World menu has yet to be released, but some of the creations we’ve seen at their Disneyland location include the Mexican Street Corn Dog, a Christmas Corn Dog, and even a Golden Dragon Corn Dog!
Oh, and we do know that the controversial PICKLE Corn Dog will be coming to Disney World. Pickle + corn dog + peanut butter sauce?!
It’s going to be one of those places you’ve just GOT to stop by to see what unique creations they’re whipping up!

Disney Springs
The Polite Pig
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, The Polite Pig is ONE OF THE BEST fast food places to eat in ALL of Disney World.
The Polite Pig serves up modern barbecue. It was created by James and Julie Petrakis (in partnership with Chef Brian Petrakis) who are already well known in the Orlando area for their restaurants The Ravenous Pig and Cask & Larder.
The food here is pretty large in terms of portion size and absolutely high quality. The Burnt End BBQ Meatballs are a particular highlight (moist and tender with a smokey flavor), but you also can’t go wrong with the GIANT Fried Chicken Sandwich and you can also pick from things like ribs, a half chicken, and USDA Prime Brisket (yes, at a FAST FOOD restaurant).
And don’t even get us started on the sides. Those Crispy Brussels sprouts with Whiskey-Caramel might just convert you into being a Brussels sprouts fan if you aren’t one. And there are lots of other great sides to pick from too.
And you’ll just have to come to this restaurant over and over again because they constantly get new seasonal sides or limited-time chef’s specials that’ll draw you back in.
Pair that with their extensive drink menu (over 50 bourbons at the Bourbon Bar), their barbecue sauces, and the fact that once again this is all in a QUICK SERVICE restaurant and you’ve got a true winner.

Chicken Guy!
Our last stop brings us to Chicken Guy! from Guy Fieri. The menu here is centered around one thing — CHICKEN. But that’s not a bad thing!
You can get chicken here as tenders, in a sandwich, in a salad, or even on top of loaded fries. And while the fried variety might be the go-to, you can also opt for grilled ones if that’s your preference.
Don’t miss out on the Loaded Mac Daddy Mac ‘n’ Cheese (smothered in Super Melty Cheese, chopped crispy or grilled Chicken, Bacon, and Green Onions) if you love a good cheesy, savory dish.
But know that the real stars of the show here are those sauces — there are 10 to pick from! Try the special sauce, go for wasabi honey, mix it up with some garlic parmesan, or take things in a different direction with the curry mayo — the choice is YOURS.
And you can wash it all down with a shake?! SCORE.
Are the eats the most complex things in the world? Not necessarily. But for some pretty great prices, you’ll get delicious, quality chicken dishes that are full of flavor and won’t break your budget.

Chrissy says
To be honest, CHH is hit-or-miss for us. You can either get the freshest of food, or food that tastes like its been sitting out under a heat lamp for hours. We tend to not go there anymore, instead opting for Peco Bill’s.
We also don’t like Woody’s or Ronto Roasters, and will instead go to ABC Commissary, which I’m surprised has been snubbed from this list. ABC Commissary has some really great eats, like the buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich.
The last time we went to Flame Tree (in July 2023), there was more bone than meat on our ribs! It totally turned us off and we won’t go back there for a while.
Brandon says
Columbia Harbor House is disgusting. Thimerosal food has gotten steadily worse over the past few years.
The food is way too expensive, the portion size is way too small. And the quality fell off a cliff.
I got sick there twice in a row on 2 different trips. Then I said never again.
Woods Lunchbox was amazing when it first opened. But then they changed the recipe of some of their entrees so we no longer eat here.
Jim W. says
Les Halles is outstanding. We’ve also have loved the Boardwalk Deli. The Bagel breakfast sandwiches are terrific and the Reuben is primo. Further, add the pizza window, the new corn dog place & the bake shop… Boardwalk will have the best collection of quick serve places, no need for theme park tickets.
Essie says
I’ve always loved the CHH and Sleepy Hollow, but I can’t wait to try Les Halles.
Debbie says
Has the old (pictured) Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich returned for purchase from Sleepy Hollow, or is it still create your own by buying the Mickey Fruit Waffle and adding more fruit?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Debbie! There’s a version you can order with the fruit now, but it’s still the Mickey-shaped waffle.
