Trying to figure out where to eat while you’re in EPCOT?
There are tons of choices. Whether you’re looking for a fancy table service meal or a grab-and-go snack, EPCOT is known for its variety of food. If you just want a quick bite to eat or a tasty beverage, any one of the park’s many festivals will have plenty of options at their Outdoor Kitchens, but one spot is open year-round and definitely shouldn’t be overlooked. Joy of Tea in EPCOT’s China pavilion has a small menu — but it packs a punch. I went for a quick snack recently — keep reading for my full review!
Atmosphere
This little spot is located right at the front of the China pavilion.
There really isn’t a dedicated area to sit, but you can find a few tables scattered about, as well as some benches around the lotus pond.
The line can get a little long, but it moves fast!
Menu
The menu here is rather small, but there is more than just tea. You’ll find a variety of Specialty Cocktails, like the popular Tipsy Ducks in Love and the Canto Loopy.
As for the non-alcoholic teas, they have Bubble Milk Tea, Honey Hibiscus Tea, Jasmine, and Oolong on the menu.
They also serve a Dragon Blossom Draft pilsner as well as one food option — the Egg Rolls.

Eats
I ordered the Honey Hibiscus Iced Tea and the Egg Rolls.
The Honey Hibiscus Iced Tea is a lightly sweetened organic tea with blueberry popping boba. I got one for $7.25. This was refreshing and light, but a tad sweeter than I was expecting.
The hibiscus flavor was pretty mild compared to other similar drinks I’ve had in the past — it was floral without being overpowering. While it was pretty mellow, it was quite sweet, with the boba adding even more sugar to the mix. The blueberry was pretty bold and paired well with the hibiscus, however.
The boba are also the kind that pop, which was nice since I have been seeing Disney use more of the gummy style of boba lately. They added a fun touch of unique texture, but they are not for everyone!
The Egg Rolls were $5.25, came with 2 pieces, and were filled with pork and vegetables.
These were done pretty well. The flavor was bold and heavy on the cabbage. I thought the pork was tender and the veggies paired well with it to create a nice depth of flavor.
They were also fried well so the exterior was crispy and delicious without being overcooked.
For $5.25, I think these are a great budget-friendly snack. Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can get 2 Egg Rolls at Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe for $8.99. These might not fill you up, but they are a pretty good bargain!
Overall
This spot might not have a ton of options, but if you’re looking for a quick snack or a refreshing drink, this is a great option.
The cocktails are really popular, and you can’t beat a Disney World snack deal for under $6. If you love egg rolls and are passing by this location, it’s worth a stop!
Nosh or Not
Stop by this little snack spot if…
- You want a tasty drink or snack in a hurry. This spot can get busy, but it is definitely a place you can grab a speedy bite to eat.
- You love tea. There are a few good options here for tea lovers.
- You are on a budget. If you want something quick and easy to eat, the Egg Rolls are pretty affordable by Disney’s standards.
Skip Joy of Tea if…
- You have picky eaters. There is only one food item on the menu, so it’s not the best choice for those trying to please a crowd!
- You are really hungry. As stated, there is just one food item, and it probably won’t fill you up.
- You aren’t a tea fan. The majority of the menu here is tea — so if tea isn’t your thing, you might want to stop elsewhere!
