REVIEW: This Magic Kingdom Restaurant NEVER Lets Us Down

The holiday season has arrived in Disney World — and so have the festive snacks.

Now, you know us — we get excited about ALL the holiday snacks. This is the SEASON of pumpkin spice, eggnog, and peppermint, after all. So we were pretty excited to check out a brand NEW holiday Disney treat in Magic Kingdom.

We found this new treat in Fantasyland at Cheshire Cafe (home to one of our favorite Disney World snacks, the Cheshire Cat Tail). It’s a Peppermint Éclair — yep, it’s an eclair with one of the CLASSIC flavors of the season. This is an Éclair filled with White Chocolate Peppermint Mousse and topped with Peppermint Mousse and Chocolate Pieces. Look at how pretty it is!

First off, we just have to mention that if you don’t like peppermint, don’t order this. The peppermint flavor is strong, but we thought it made the éclair taste SO fresh. It gave us York Peppermint Patty vibes, and we are HERE for it. But yes, this is not a subtle peppermint flavor. This is in your face minty fresh.

This one is for you peppermint lovers.

We really liked the addition of the chocolate square on top, especially since the decor on many of these treats is for looks only.

The éclair shell is soft but with just enough crispiness to hold everything together. Inside, the mousse is creamy and decadent. We loved the nice, slightly dark chocolate flavor of this treat. It just melts in your mouth. YUM!
