Okay, a LOT has been announced about Universal’s newest theme park — Epic Universe. BUT, let’s face it. A lot of those announcements have been shown with concept art.

Hello, Epic Universe!

Since we’ve only learned a little bit about what will await us at Epic Universe, its lands, and its 3 onsite hotels, we really wanted to see it in person for ourselves. So, that’s just what we did! Let’s take a look at what we saw on our field trip out to (the future) Universal Epic Universe.

Since Epic Universe has gathered our attention lately, we decided to pay the construction site a little visit. Alright, you got us… we had to check it out from afar (because we can’t actually be “in” the construction areas while they’re working), but what we saw was stunning!

Both of the forefront hotels that will be found at the entrance of Epic Universe seem fairly complete on the outside with Stella Nova Resort mostly covered in its shiny exterior coating…

… while there’s still a significant amount waiting to be added to Terra Luna Resort. Right now, it kind of just looks like a hunk of concrete.

If you look in between the hotels, you can get a peek at the construction going on inside the park, too! We caught a glimpse of the coaster track for Starfall Racers and a few exterior details for the surrounding area.

On the opposite side, you could get a slight peek at the construction going on over in that direction but it was mostly construction equipment and dirt.

Yeah, there’s still just a lot of dirt beyond the front prime-value hotels that border the park’s entrance but it didn’t make us any less excited to be so close to the action!

We’ll be keeping a close watch over it and will continue to bring you updates as construction on this expansive park progresses!
