In just a few days, Valentine’s Day will be HERE.
Now, you might not appreciate Valentine’s Day sitting at home, but if you’re going to be in Disney World for Valentine’s Day (honestly, it’s a GREAT place to celebrate everything you love), you’re in for a real treat. You’ll get to check out a TON of Valentine’s Day-themed snacks throughout Disney World, but you’ll also get to see some SUPER rare characters. That’s because Valentine’s Day often brings out some of Disney’s most iconic couples for this special day of ROMANCE.
In previous years, we’ve seen some of Disney’s most famous couples come out to meet with guests for Valentine’s Day. For example, you can always meet Snow White in EPCOT, but on February 14th, she might be joined by Prince Florian, a character who is rarely seen in the parks.
You might want to keep an eye out for another famous Disney couple, too. We’ve seen Belle walking around with Beast in EPCOT— for those who don’t know, you usually can only see Beast in Disney World by visiting Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. Seeing them together, though? PRICELESS.
However, we’ve also seen some famous couples at special meet and greets at Disney World hotels. Last year, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn held a special Valentine’s Day meet and greet for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members. Special photo ops were even set up that included a meet and greet with Clarabelle and Horace.
That event also had a special meet and greet with the most iconic couple of them all, Mickey and Minnie, all dressed up for the special day. Minnie was rockin’ the dots, as always, but Mickey looked like a Valentine’s Day version of Dapper Dan. LOVE IT.
So if you’re visiting Disney World on February 14th, keep an eye out for these famous couples. You might just see a character you’ve never seen before in the parks or at the hotels.
