It’s official! We are one step closer to the opening day of Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe.
While the new theme park does not open until May 22nd, teams are hard at work getting the park show ready for its first guests on opening day. To test out rides and attractions, Universal Orlando is hosting preview days for its Team Members as part of its Team Member-first culture!
Team Member previews will start this upcoming Saturday, March 1st, at 8 AM and run until March 7th at 7 PM. Currently, this first phase preview window is open to just Team Members as family previews are expected to be announced at a later date. The following Team Members can snag their free preview ticket today:
- Universal Orlando Team Members
- Universal Creative Team Members based in Orlando
- Universal Destinations and Experiences Team Members based in Orlando
- NBCU Team Members whose scope is Universal Destinations and Experiences in Orlando
Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.
Universal Orlando has made it clear that during these previews, parts of the park can still be under construction, and Team Members visiting can expect some downtime and delays. Universal also says that Team Members who are visiting during this first phase will help fellow Team Members prepare for the first round of guests when the park opens, and their patience and enthusiasm are important.
Since the park is in its first phase of previews and construction can still be ongoing, Team Members are strictly prohibited from taking photos or videos or answering video calls while they are in the park.
We will continue to be on the lookout for news regarding more previews of Epic Universe, so make sure to continue to follow along with us here at the Disney Food Blog!
