Why Is No One Talking About the Hidden Dole Whip at This Disney World Hotel?!

Dole Whip is the epitome of what a Disney snack is, and we can’t believe we found the best one at a Disney World resort!

Next time you’re at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, you should head to the quick-service restaurant to grab this special treat.

El Mercado de Coronado offers some of our favorite quick eats, but best of all, they have a seasonal Dole Whip!

For $4.79 for a small or $6.79 for a large, you can get the Dole Whip, vanilla soft serve, or a swirl of both. The classic flavor is pineapple paired with vanilla ice cream, which is a perfect combination of acidic and sweet. Even people who aren’t obsessed with pineapple may enjoy this snack because the vanilla pulls back the strong flavor of the pineapple. The last time we checked, El Mercado de Coronado was serving pineapple, but we have seen them rotate flavors and even serve more rare ones — like watermelon!

Other Dole Whip locations, like Aloha Isle Refreshments in Magic Kingdom and Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, are often busy, so we love this underrated spot! Dole Whip can also melt fast, so it’s perfect that El Mercado is inside with seating for us to enjoy our treat.

While we would eat Dole Whip for every meal if we could, there are also great meal options like the Chicken Tinga Rice Bowl, Elote Street Corn, and Market Nachos! There are also great on-the-go options like pizzas, sandwiches, and pretzels at El Mercado de Coronado.

Coronado Springs is also home to other restaurants, like Three Bridges and Toledo. You can eat at any of the restaurants and grab a Dole Whip at El Mercado, too!

This resort is a great place to walk around and enjoy the weather! There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating locations, and we love to grab a lounge chair and look out onto the water. It’s covered in beautiful architecture and has a few different places to pin trade, as well.
