We’re still struggling to believe that it’s somehow almost November (time FLIES!), and while that means there are only two more months of the year, it does mean that the holiday season is about to take over Disney World in FULL force.

If you’re a big fan of the holidays, this is probably one of your favorite times of the year. While we’re looking forward to all the special holiday merchandise, snacks, and decor that’s about to be up all around the parks, if you’re especially a big fan of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you won’t want to miss the nine new additions hitting the parks for Jollywood Nights this year!

Jollywood Nights is an after-hours event that takes place on select nights from November 8th through December 22nd, and tickets range from $159 to $199, depending on how close you are to Christmas and what day of the week it is. The past two years this event has been taking place, we’ve loved the opportunity to meet rare characters, try specialty snacks that aren’t available during the day, and check out some really amazing live entertainment.

This year, Disney has already told us that we can look forward to NINE new additions hitting the park and the party for the very first time, but let’s break it down so you know what to add higher to your must-do list! Starting with characters, there are FOUR new character meet and greets at the party that you won’t want to miss out on.

• Miguel from Coco will be meeting guests at Holiday Fiesta en la Calle in front of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
• Chewbacca celebrating Life Day can be found in Galaxy’s Edge

• Partysaurus Rex will be living it up in Toy Story Land
• Bing Bong is imagining with visitors on Grand Avenue

Not only that, but there’s also been a change to when you’ll be able to enter the park for the event. People with party tickets (NOT regular park tickets for Hollywood Studios) will be able to enter the park at 5:30 PM this year instead of the previous 6 PM entrance time.

Disney has also announced that The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will run throughout the night, meaning there are TWO more attractions to experience with lower wait times than usual. This is especially great for The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure, as the theatre is smaller and doesn’t fit as many people, meaning that wait times are usually longer during the day.

We’re also looking forward to the snacks on the new Backlot Express specialty menu! At this location, with all-new party food, you’ll be able to grab:

• Hickory Holiday Mac: Macaroni & cheese with burnt ends, crispy onions, and chili pepper sauce

• Jolly Jam Slider: Angus burger with bourbon-garlic-bacon jam, smoky paprika aïoli, and chili pepper sauce served on a Hawaiian roll

• Sleigh Bell Brussels Sprouts with bourbon-onion jam and crispy onions (Plant-based)

• Sweet Chili Cheer Chicken Slider: Chicken thighs tossed in sweet chili aïoli topped with Asian slaw and cilantro served on a brioche roll

• Holly Jolly Bread Pudding: Warm bread pudding swirled with chocolate-hazelnut spread and topped with cherries, holiday sprinkles, and a chocolate gingerbread man

• Figgy Pudding Martini: Figenza Mediterranean Fig Flavored Vodka, fig jam, agave, half & half, ginger beer, and allspice garnished with nutmeg

• Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
• Miller High Life Lager 

There are SO many snacks (new and returning!) to check out at this event, you’ll want to take a look through them all in advance to know what’s at the top of your list. For the sake of this list, we counted it as one new addition, but there are over 30 new things to try!
