Ringing in a New Year is fun, but ringing in a New Year in Disney World is even better, right?
Well, if you’re making plans to visit Disney World for New Year’s Eve, you may be wondering what all you can see, do, and eat during that special evening. Well, we’re going to outline some New Year’s activities throughout the resort, so you’ll be able to ring in 2026 in the most magical way possible.
Let’s start off at the theme parks!
EPCOT
On December 31st, you will find DJ dance parties in World Celebration and around World Showcase. You can also catch a special fireworks celebration. Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration Countdown Fireworks starts at 11:54 PM, with the grand finale kicking off right as the clock strikes 12! You’ll also find dance parties throughout the park. Additionally, you can also watch “Luminous The Symphony of Us” which is EPCOT’s regular nighttime spectacular at 6:30 PM.
Magic Kingdom
In Magic Kingdom, the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks are shown at both 7:30PM and 11:50PM, which then leads into a countdown to the New Year. You can catch these special fireworks on December 30th and December 31st!
In addition to the fireworks show, you can also grab the Happy “Root Beer” Float from Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies. This is Root beer with vanilla soft-serve, chocolate cookie biscuit “sparkler,” and shimmery sprinkles. It is available from December 22nd to January 3rd.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll find live entertainment, DJs, and the Pixar Dance Party. Also, keep an eye out for special character experiences throughout the park. Plus, you can enjoy the New Year Countdown Fireworks starting at 11:57 PM.
You can also find some special treats in Hollywood Studios on December 31st ONLY. You can find these at the Outdoor Bars near Hyperion Theater and in the Courtyard of The Hollywood Tower Hotel. Here is a peek:
- Red Velvet Cake Pop dipped in milk chocolate and topped with sprinkles
- Midnight Royale: Orange liqueur, cranberry juice, simple syrup, and Prosecco, garnished with cranberries
- Dark Chocolate-Almond Bark: Dark chocolate with almonds and dried cherries topped with sprinkles
- Countdown Cider: Sparkling apple cider with strawberry syrup and SKITTLES POP’d Original Freeze-Dried Candy (non-alcoholic)
- Sparkling Mimosa: White cranberry juice, guava syrup, blue curaçao syrup, lime juice, and sparkling wine with a rosemary sprig
- Truffle Trio: Salted caramel, raspberry, and praline
There are also special events happening at Disney World hotels!
Disney World Hotels
You’ll also find some special events at Disney World Hotels, including a special evening at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. You can experience The Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill on December 30th and 31st, which will include a 4-course meal and exclusive fireworks viewing, complete with a live band. For reservations, call (407) 824-2284.
Other hotels generally plan activities, too, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for signage and details about those events. If in doubt, ask a Cast Member at your hotel about what’s going on during New Year’s Eve.
Disney Springs
Several restaurants in Disney Springs also have special New Year’s Eve events that you might want to be a part of. Raglan Road celebrates New Year’s Eve twice, in Florida’s Eastern Standard Time and Ireland’s Time Zone. How fun is that? Twice the party, twice the fun.
City Works Eatery & Pour House is offering specialty menu items to celebrate New Year’s Eve. STK® Steakhouse will have live DJs and a complimentary midnight champagne toast!
Over at Jaleo, you can enjoy a 5-course $180 Tasting Menu, a live DJ starting at 7 PM, a midnight Cava toast, and “the Spanish tradition of eating 12 lucky grapes for good fortune.”At Summer House on the Lake from 11AM to 11PM on December 31st, you can find holiday specials, signature favorites, and New Year’s Eve-themed sweet treats from The Cookie Bar.
You can also find a special treat at Amorette’s Patisserie, the Countdown to Midnight Cake Bar. This is Chocolate chiffon with chocolate mousse and mini chocolate chips. It is available from December 26th to January 1st.
