The 2026 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has officially kicked off, and we were there on day one to get you all the food booth reviews to let you know what is worth your time and money (or Disney Dining Plan snack credits!)

Tuna Poke Bowl
When you have the Disney Dining Plan, you’re probably looking to maximize your value when using your credits. One of our favorite ways to use snack credits is during an EPCOT festival at the outdoor kitchens. The Flower and Garden Festival runs from now until June 1st, so if you’re heading there, these are the items to get the most bang for your buck.
Tarte Aux Oignons Caramelises
Over at Fleur de Lys, we tried the Tarte Aux Oignons Caramelises for $8.25. This dish features caramelized onions on a flaky pastry crust topped with bacon. This item made our Best of the Fest this year! It was packed with flavor, and the bacon’s saltiness really helped balance the other flavors out. This dish is delicious, but it’s pricey. This is a good use of your credit if you like these flavors.

Canard Confit
Speaking of Fleur de Lys, you can also grab the new Canard Confit, Sauce Romarin et Champignons, Gâteau de Polenta aux Herbes, which is pulled duck confit with rosemary-mushroom sauce and herbed polenta corn cake for $9.95. While this dish is not one of our favorites in terms of flavor, it’s a good value if you’re looking to try duck.

Tuna Poke Bowl
The Tuna Poke Bowl makes its debut at the Nectar booth for $8.79. It’s made with edamame, avocado, mango, pickled red onions, seaweed salad, furikake, and umami sauce, all served on a bed of sticky rice. This is a high-quality poke bowl, y’all. The portion is large, and we think it’s enough for lunch!

Miso Cola-glazed Sticky Pork Ribs
Over at the Trowel & Trellis booth, you’ll find the Miso Cola-glazed Sticky Pork Ribs for $7.29. These pork ribs are topped with spicy pickled peppers and peanuts. They’re fairly tender, and they fall off the bone nicely. The peanuts added a nice crunch, and the peppers were surprisingly hot. You get two ribs with the dish for $7.29, so not enough for a meal, but we think this is a great use of your credit.

Seafood Bake
Over at Beach Grub, you can grab the Seafood Bake for $8.49. $8.49 is pretty pricey, but you get a large portion with this dish, so using a snack credit will give you a lot of value. There was so much butter in the best way — seriously, soak your bread in the butter and enjoy it.

Shrimp and Grits
A consistent favorite of ours at this festival is the Shrimp and Grits at Brunchcot. For $7.79, this dish gives you blackened shrimp and cheddar cheese grits with tasso ham gravy, bell peppers, onions, and andouille sausage. It’s a large enough portion to be a solid snack choice, but still small enough not to fill you up.

Scallop
At the EPCOT’s Farmers Feast booth, for $8.19, you can get the Scallop with spring pea risotto, lemon-beurre blanc, and gremolata. We thought it was a little steep for $8, but once again, the scallops tasted really fresh. That makes this a great use of your snack credit.

Beef Tenderloin Tips
The Beef Tenderloin Tips from Northern Bloom are $7.79. The beef tips come with mushroom bordelaise, whipped potatoes, and garden vegetables. This is a Best of the Fest contender. The steak was a good portion size, the gravy (while maybe a tinge salty) mixed well with everything, the carrots were soft, and the mashed potatoes were creamy, all of which combined into a perfectly balanced offering. The large portion and delicious dish make it a great snack credit use.

Chilaquiles con Carne
The Chilaquiles con Carne is made with corn tortillas, tossed in salsa ranchera and Monterey Jack, with shaved rib-eye, poblano peppers, onions, queso fresco, and crema mexicana, for $8.50. This new dish is found at the Jardin de Fiestas Outdoor Kitchen. We love the flavors of this dish, and it blew us away. $8.50 can be a lot for a snack, so using a snack credit on this will give you great value.

Taco de Calamar
Also at the Jardin de Fiestas Outdoor Kitchen, you can find the Taco de Calamar. This dish features a flour tortilla filled with crispy calamari. It’s garnished with fried garlic, pasilla aïoli, and chives for $9. $9 already makes it a good contender for using a credit, but we weren’t a huge fan of this dish. If it sounds like something you’d enjoy, it’s a good idea to use it for a credit.
