If you’ve ever wondered where to get a good burger in Universal Orlando, you’re not alone! We love heading to CityWalk’s Burger King Whopper Bar for our custom, one-of-a-kind burger at an affordable price.
Sometimes, we just want the juicy, greasy burger of our dreams, no park ticket required! So we were thrilled to find out that Universal Orlando will get a new Five Guys location – but it comes at a cost: Burger King Whopper Bar will be closing soon!
Five Guys will take over the existing Burger King Whopper Bar location at CityWalk, which will close on April 21st, 2026. At the Whopper Bar, you can choose from over 20 toppings as your sandwich is assembled before your eyes, with unique options including add-on extras like guacamole and crispy onions. Get your personal Whopper fix before it’s gone!
The popular fast casual burger chain Five Guys will bring fresh, made-to-order burgers and fries to Universal CityWalk later this summer. We love Five Guys for their juicy burgers, crispy fries, and sweet milkshakes. You can’t go wrong with their classic cheeseburger!
Since the Burger King Whopper Bar is a similar concept to Five Guys, the restaurant itself will likely receive a quick facelift as the only major change. If you want to grab some fast food during the closure, CityWalk’s neighboring Panda Express and Moe’s Southwest Grill will remain open.
We’re so excited we can finally get Five Guys during our Universal days, but we’re sad to see Burger King go! Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more theme park food news.
