As a Disney mom of two toddlers, I can tell you that our house is HYPED for Bluey to finally be at Disney World, but is it really worth the trip? We’re here to bring you the facts so you can decide!

Hey, Bluey!
Bluey’s Wild World is open now at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! This is being held over at Conservation Station, meaning you’ll need to take the Wildlife Express over. If you’re debating booking a Disney World vacation to see Bluey and Bingo, you’ll want to know this first.
Bluey’s Wild World 101
Disney World has brought back its virtual queue system for Bluey! You must join the virtual queue to experience Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, the Wildlife Express Train, Jumping Junction, and the Animal Care experiences at Conservation Station.

Hi Bluey!
You can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at either 7 AM or 10 AM. To join at 7 AM, you’ll need a theme park reservation for Animal Kingdom, but you can be anywhere – you don’t need to be inside the park. To join the virtual queue at 10 AM, you must be scanned into Animal Kingdom.

The entrance to the show
On opening day, our reporters got boarding group 2 during the 7 AM virtual queue. We were Boarding Group 2, so we waited for our group to be called, and then we were finally able to head back to Bluey’s Wild World! We were called back before the park even opened since they usually call a few groups at a time. The virtual queue filled up in a few seconds for the 7 AM drop, and we have a feeling the same will happen with the 10 AM group, since the experience only runs till 3:45 PM.

Line for Bluey’s dance party
When your group gets called, you’ll head to the Wildlife Express, which is the train that takes you over to Conservation Station, where Bluey’s Wild World is. Here’s the catch — you can’t board the train BEFORE your Virtual Queue is called, but Cast Members will only ask to see your VQ, they WON’T officially scan it (that comes later). Just like with other Virtual Queues, you have an hour to redeem it, but in our experience, getting from the Wildlife Express to the entrance of the show, where your VQ is officially scanned, can sometimes take up to an hour.

Hey, Bluey!
Now, since our group was so early, we did not experience a wait outside the Conservation Station. However, we saw the line outside (and inside, since it’s partially indoors) last through THREE rotations of the show, which is 14 minutes EACH. Yes, that means people were waiting in line for the show for upwards of 45 minutes, but that was before their Virtual Queue was scanned at the front of the line! Moms, this means you could likely be standing in this queue, without a stroller, for that long.

Plan ahead!
During the show, kids were invited to come to the front to play games with Bluey and Bingo! We played Magic Asparagus, Copycat Charades, and Keepy Uppy, all from the hit Bluey TV show. The kids were loving it. Bluey and Bingo roam through the crowd and interact with you throughout, even in the adults’ area.
This was a really great show for Bluey fans to see their favorite characters! It’s not like a traditional character meet and greet, but there’s a lot of opportunity for interactive moments. Now, is it worth booking a Disney trip?

Bingo!
Is it Worth Booking a Disney World Vacation?
Now, did we enjoy the experience? Yes! If your family is a fan of Bluey, you’ll love this. However, there are a few downsides you’ll want to plan for, like being without a stroller, and there are no snack options here. Is that enough to deter us? No. But it might be for you!

We enjoyed it!
If Bluey is not a reason enough alone to visit Disney World right now, there are a lot of other reasons! Cool Kids Summer just kicked off at Disney World, and there are lots of perks happening right now for kids. For example, A popular restaurant at Magic Kingdom called The Diamond Horseshoe is now the home to Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue! This is a fun time for kids of all ages.

Jessie’s Roundup is HERE!
Over at Hollywood Studios, Disney has added a new show — Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! This live show is inspired by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, and invites everyone to celebrate with the ultimate party at the Clubhouse. This new experience will be located in the former Disney Jr. Dance Party space at the new Walt Disney Studios area.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse LIVE!
Those are just a few options as part of the Cool Kids Summer. The free water park ticket perk is happening this summer, as well as the Free Kids Dining Plan that’s happening all of 2026. Now, as a mom, I’ll tell you that all of this combined was enough of a reason for a Disney vacation for our family this summer. Ultimately, you are the one who knows what is “worth it” to your family.
