We’ve got MASSIVE news that just came out of EPCOT, and it’s got us VERY excited for what’s coming in July!
Refreshment Port near the Canada Pavilion has been closed for months now, but it was announced that it would be turning into La Poutinerie, sponsored by Air Canada, later this year. There was no opening date for the new spot, only the information that it was on its way, but now that’s changed — this new spot will officially be opening in July!
La Poutinerie will officially be opening in EPCOT on July 1st — yes, that’s Canada Day! The @disneyeats Instagram page released the news today, June 8th, meaning we’ve got just under a month to wait.
We also got a bit of a sneak peek at the menu, which includes multiple food and drink options, but the ones that really stand out to us so far are:
- Québec: L’authentique: French fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy
- Spiced Apple Slushy: Frozen ginger beer blended with lively lime and cozy spiced apple flavors (Non-alcoholic)
- Montréal: Viande Fumée: French fries, cheese curds, smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy
We’re so happy to see that this spot will soon be open again, and from what we’ve seen so far, it looks like the menu will be a real hit. This also means it’ll likely have special offerings for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival in August, which already has us stoked.
