Get your calendars because there’s a rare parade coming to Magic Kingdom in October!

Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom
Diwali Dance Fest is coming to Disney World once again. Only, instead of being at Disney Springs, it will be at Magic Kingdom and other parks! This rare entertainment will be at the park for only a limited time, so let’s take a look at the dates and details.
The epic three-day celebration of Diwali will take place from October 22nd through 25th. The party will begin with the Jashn-E-Magic Diwali Mela on Thursday, October 22nd. This is an exclusive party with performers and their guests located at EPCOT for the first time ever. This is listed as a private event for performers and registered guests only.

Friday, October 23rd, is when you’ll want to visit Magic Kingdom. That’s the day the rare Grand Diwali Parade will take place. You’ll be able to watch the parade on Main Street USA, featuring over 500 performers from around the world! The parade will take place between 1- 2 PM.

Magic Kingdom
Then there’s the International Dance Showcase on Saturday, October 24th, in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This will be the last day of the event, and the grand showcase will feature dazzling performances by 25 international dance studios, as well as an exclusive performance by TESHER! The showcase is hosted by CBS’s Shanelle Kaul.

Animal Kingdom
Doors for the showcase open at 6 PM. In order to attend, you will need both a park pass to Animal Kingdom AND a showcase ticket to get into the theater. You can buy tickets and park passes online right now.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Since this is taking place in October, it will also be a cool chance to check out the fall and Halloween decorations in Magic Kingdom. Or, maybe you already have a trip planned for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so you can check out another rare parade while you’re here.
