Does it feel like this week is going by WAY slow to anyone else?
Maybe it’s because the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts kicks off this Friday and we can’t WAIT. We spent today drooling over the just-released festival booth menus, and now we’re taking a look at the art and photo ops that popped up today!
The first new piece we noticed was up on the walls of some of the Future World construction barriers. Wow! These construction walls have never looked so pretty. This series of pieces is called Drawing on Inspiration and features art inspired by EPCOT attractions of past and present.
Check out these pieces inspired by Journey Into Imagination. Of course, Figment is the star. We love the homages to the original attraction with rainbow-tunnel-esque colors and the Dreamfinder’s hat.
The World of Motion pieces are giving us TOTAL flashbacks to the 80s — and we love it!
Representing The Living Seas are two colorful aquatic scenes. You can even see the tunnels of the pavilion in one of them!
Universe of Energy brings dinosaurs to the art pieces! This pair has some really fun and contrasting styles.
We got the Horizons song stuck in our head just looking at these two works!
The snowy scene on the left and the vibrant scene on the right are perfect representations of The Land if you ask us.
Finally, the exhibit leads to the Spaceship Earth pairing. Look, one of the works features the new fountain!
Moving on, we also spotted a few new chalk art pieces on the ground today. This Beauty and the Beast Rose Chalk Art is especially impressive. It looks 3D but it’s drawn right on the ground!
Plus, some gorgeous works are popping up elsewhere on the pavement as well. Remember, if you’re going to this fest — LOOK DOWN.
Look at this cute little detail we spotted along World Showcase! It’s Little Brother from Mulan!
Colorful wing photo ops have returned to the festival this year! We can’t wait to pose in front of our wings of choice. Or…all of them. No one’s stopping us. Check out this Tinker Bell Wing Photo Op…
…the Orange Wing Photo Op…
…the Pixel Wing Photo Op…
…the Candy Wing Photo Op…
…the Butterfly Wing Photo Op…
…and the Fiery Bird Wing Photo Op!
Speaking of photo ops, a few more popped up today! We did spot some yesterday, so we’re pretty happy to see more added to the fold. Pose in The Birth of Venus…
…as a part of Peter Pan…
…and even in one of Frida Kahlo’s self-portraits!
Festival of the Arts sure does look like it’s going to be a fun one this year! We can’t wait to see if any more art and photo ops pop up in EPCOT and you can bet we’ll report ’em when they do. Plus, you can join us LIVE on Friday as we eat our way around the fest and review every single booth. See ya then!
