Unless you’ve been living under a pretty large rock for the last 8 months when it comes to Disney World news, you’re aware that Hollywood Studios is about to go through some MASSIVE changes.
The entire Grand Avenue area of the park, including Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose, is going to close to make way for a brand new land based around Monsters, Inc. While we’re ecstatic for Monstropolis – – seriously, we’ve been daydreaming about that door coaster since 2001 — we’re going to miss the original Muppets area of the park.
A brand-new Disney Loungefly collection is making our Tangled dreams come true!
The latest Disney Loungefly collaboration celebrates the 15th anniversary of Tangled with a new collection featuring iconic characters from the film, including Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, and Pascal.
Marvel Studios has released a NEW trailer for Fantastic Four: First Steps, and it introduces a version of an iconic Marvel character who has never appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — the Silver Surfer.
According to the film’s official synopsis, Fantastic Four: First Steps is “set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world.” The story is centered around Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm as they face a daunting challenge. The group must balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond and defend Earth from a space god. Watch the NEW trailer below!
Disney’s latest ship, the Disney Destiny, is set for its maiden voyage this coming November, and recently, we got to check out certain elements of the ship that SURPRISED us.
The Destiny, the latest ship from the ever-expanding Disney Cruise Line, will be themed to Heroes and Villains, with environments based on “on the legacies of beloved Disney stories, characters, and theme park attractions” according to the company. Disney’s Imagineers were “inspired by the dynamic duality of every great Disney story when developing this new ship, where opposing forces of light and dark drive characters to rise to their purpose.”
