There are a lot of hidden food gems throughout Disney World, and you might just stumble across a few during your trip. Some of these gems are at Disney World Resorts, and you might not want to travel to another resort to try them out. Two popular snack spots in Disney’s Animal Kingdom have made some big menu changes, and unfortunately, the new additions don’t make up for the losses. We’re talking about longtime go-to eats that were practically our park staples — gone. Connections Eatery
When you first walk into EPCOT and head left after saying hi to Spaceship Earth (did you thank the Phoenicians today?), you’ll come across Connections Eatery. This huge restaurant is a great place to stop before heading deep into the World Showcase, and we love grabbing a meal here before we move to snack after snack. We tried two new bites, and we’re dropping all the details to see if you need to book that park reservation immediately!

The Magic Kingdom’s new Pirates of the Caribbean-based lounge is almost here, as are the rules that will go along with it!

Late 2025 will see the debut of a new highly anticipated bar at the Magic Kingdom: The Beak and Barrel. According to Disney, the bar’s backstory will be that the bar was founded by the “legendary pirate rumrunner” Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn, and her “talkative first mate” Rummy, an animatronic parrot who will “keep an eye on the place” from a roost atop the bar.”
