On May 27, 2018, Pandora — the World of AVATAR celebrated its first birthday! And while the Animal Kingdom’s newest land didn’t have a Pandoran smash cake, we did stop in to retry some of the eats that’ve fueled many a journey down the Na’vi River and on the back of a banshee for Flight of Passage!

FULL REVIEW: Pixar Fest Afternoon Tea in Disneyland Hotel
When Disneyland Resort introduced a brand new Pixar Fest Afternoon Tea a couple of weeks ago, we were chomping at the bit to learn more — and to get in on that tea and sandwiches action! The Pixar Fest Afternoon Tea is a part of the on-going (and delicious!) Pixar Fest, so guests can reserve tea through September 3, when the festival ends.
We were there on DAY 1 to enjoy it, so let’s head over to Steakhouse 55 and enjoy afternoon tea!
The cost of the Pixar Fest Afternoon Tea is $52-$65 per adult and $35 per child, and its location at Steakhouse 55 raised our expectations. We’d already had a great experience at Steakhouse 55 for regular old afternoon tea. Imagine what would happen when they Pixar-fied it!

34 Things You Didn’t Know You Could Do at Walt Disney World!
One of the most exciting things about visiting Walt Disney World Resort is that there are constantly new things to experience — even if you’ve been hundreds of times.
Here we’ve gathered 34 Things You Didn’t Know You Could Do at Walt Disney World — so let’s all go try something new!
Disneyland Annual Passholder Program Sees Two BIG Changes
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is slated to open in Disneyland in summer of 2019. (Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios will follow in late fall 2019.)
And even though that’s a year away, we’re starting to see signs of the changes that will take place around the addition of those Lands now. Case in point: Disneyland Annual Passholders will now see park-specific calendars when they visit disneyland.com or the Disneyland app to check out the block-out dates (if applicable) for their Annual Passport. And you can currently see the calendars as far out as June 2019 (13 months as opposed to the usual 12 months).
NEW: Kylo Ren and BB-9E Cupcakes at Backlot Express in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
is, as you know, undergoing a tremendous expansion. Toy Story Land opens in one month (on June 30), and we recently learned that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open in late fall 2019! And don’t forget those brand new details about this incredible new land!
If you’re itching to get a taste of the Star Wars fun at Hollywood Studios, Backlot Express has had your back for years with a menu featuring Star Wars-themed eats!

Happy Weekend! We’re back with another DFB Video, and we’re taking you on a Food Tour of Animal Kingdom’s Asia!
Not only is the Asia section of the park a treat for the eyes, but it’s also a place where there are plenty of treats for your palate! So we’re stopping at every single place you can find food in Asia to fuel you up before you take on Expedition Everest. (On second thought, you might want to wait to eat until after riding the coaster… but I digress! 😉 ). From tasty teas and specialty cocktails for sipping to a surprising number of vegetarian options and entrees that you’d be hard-pressed to find elsewhere in Disney World, Animal Kingdom’s Asia is home to tons of fantastic eats! Pixar Fest Eats: Inspired Bites at Rancho del Zocalo (Plus NEW NACHOS!) in Disneyland
You already know that Pixar Fest is the place for classic Disneyland Resort snacks with a twist — like many, many versions of the churro and some loaded funnel cakes (like this one inspired by Toy Story).
Guests joining the friendship party can also grab a full and fun meal at Carnation Cafe, where retro eats like a Fried Bologna Sandwich are satisfying the need for some old-fashioned fun. And who can forget the Remy-approved three-course meal at Cafe Orleans?
But if you’re in the mood for a meal with a little more spice, get yourself to Frontierland and check out the Coco-inspired menu at Rancho del Zocalo.
