Layoffs have hit Disney once again.

On Wednesday, July 31st, Disney announced a massive round of layoffs. The cuts will affect roughly 140 employees – – or 2% of the company’s workforce – – across the television division according to Variety.
Disney CEO Bob Iger has been focused on making Disney’s streaming profitable, and Disney+ has increased by 6 million subscribers since his return.

But, part of that process means saying goodbye to a series here and there. In fact, we’ve already seen quite a few cancelations so far this year — and another show is joining the list.
Another major streaming company has teamed up with Disney to bring consumers a massive streaming bundle offer (and it’s pretty enticing)!

We already knew several companies like Warner Brothers Discovery were in talks with key streaming platforms to join forces and offer consumers a competitive bundle of streaming platforms. And it wasn’t too long ago since we saw Disney+ and Hulu merge allowing subscribers for both services to access each other’s content across both platforms. Now, it seems that an attractively priced bundle is the latest to grab our attention of the streaming giants and we have to admit this is one we didn’t think we’d see come to an agreement so soon! And what better place to look than Disney+?! Ever since the merger with Hulu, we’ve had a ton of content at our fingertips — and we still can’t get enough! Lucky for us, Disney just announced the lineup of everything new coming to Disney+ this August, so let’s get into it.
EPCOT’s massive transformation has been completed, but there is still more work to be done. We’ve seen the long-awaited construction walls come down from around its new World Celebration gardens and CommuniCore Hall, revealing even more festival food favorites to munch on, live entertainment, and even a dedicated spot to meet Mickey and his pals! But Test Track is currently under construction, and we’re expecting a NEW version of the ride to debut. There’s pretty much always something new to look forward to in EPCOT!

There’s a LOT that is released on Disney+ every month, July is no different, and today, July 12th is the day we’ve been looking forward to for a while now — Descendants: The Rise of Red was just released on Disney+. So get your popcorn ready, get in your comfy chair, and fire up Disney+! It’s time!

Of course, this includes all the new Marvel and Pixar creations as well, and we’ve been VERY excited for one in particular ever since it was announced. Agatha All Along is a new series coming to Disney+ on September 18th, and we just got a NEW teaser trailer to check out!
It’s the 4th of July in Disney World — and you know what that means. It means everything is getting a patriotic makeover today.

You’ll see red, white, and blue decor all along Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. You’ll also see some fun 4th of July treats popping up all over the parks and hotels (pro tip: DON’T GET THE FUNNEL CAKE). The 4th of July fireworks show premiered last night with one final performance tonight in Magic Kingdom. Oh, and the CROWDS have arrived, which might make you think the price of Genie+ would go up today, but guess what? It didn’t!
July is quickly approaching and with it comes a summer slate of bingeable shows and movies on Disney+!
