While some of the DFB team lives in Orlando and heads to the Disney World parks every day for research purposes, the majority of the team actually lives all over the country!
Luggage
However, that means trips to Disney World are pretty frequent when you combine the whole team together, and we all know the struggle of finding the best luggage that will not only be perfect for your one trip, but for a LARGE number of the trips you take afterward (luggage isn’t cheap!). We asked our team what the BEST luggage brands out there are, and we’ve got three that you’ll 100% want to look into if you’re in the market for new luggage.

Traveling to Disney World means navigating airports, running to catch flights, and making sure you have everything you need without getting bogged down by heavy luggage.
MCO Airport (and this is a GOOD crowd)
So when a former flight attendant recommended a specific travel backpack as the ultimate carry-on bag, we had to give it a try. We tested it at the Orlando Airport — one of the busiest travel hubs for Disney-bound visitors — and spoiler alert: It did not disappoint.
If you travel as often as I do, you know the airport security struggle all too well. Between juggling your carry-on, digging out your laptop, and making sure you haven’t left a water bottle in your bag (we’ve all been there), the last thing you want is to fumble with complicated shoes at TSA.
MCO Airport (and this is a GOOD crowd)
I used to be one of those people who wore sneakers that required lacing and unlacing (rookie mistake), but I’ve since learned my lesson. Now, I opt for lightweight, slip-on shoes that let me breeze through TSA without missing a beat. If you’re looking to upgrade your airport shoe game, here are some top picks that make security a total breeze.
Going to Disney World means you’ll be doing a LOT of walking — and you might need a comfy pair of shoes to do that in!

While we don’t recommend wearing a brand-new pair of shoes to the parks, we do recommend upping your shoe game if you’re in the market for a new pair — just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to break them in before your vacation. We’ve tested out a TON of different shoes in the parks and Hokas are some of our favorites — which is why we’ve found all these on SALE!
When you’re headed to Disney World, it’s IMPERATIVE that you have a good water bottle to help keep you hydrated throughout the day.
Water bottles are VERY important!
The sun is brutal in Disney World, and sweating so much due to those high temperatures means you’re almost always losing hydration fast. If you’ve been on the lookout for a new one to bring to the parks, or if you need one for your everyday life, there are some great options on sale right now!
When traveling in an airport, you want to have things to make your trip easier for you!
MCO Airport
Flying is already stressful enough. You have to arrive on time at the airport, get through security, and find your gate — don’t forget to breathe! You want something to make all of this easier for you, and that’s why you will see so many passengers now using belt bags.
