The rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine has begun across the country. Now, as folks wait for when and where they can get the vaccine, Facebook is announcing several new features to aid this process.

Right now, many countries (including the United States) already require a negative test for entry and masks are soon to be required for air travel in the U.S. Now, officials are evaluating the potential for a “vaccine passport” to prove passengers are vaccinated in order to fly. Last year, the pandemic caused the closure of every Disney park in the world. And some parks are still closed.
Cinderella Castle
Although Disney World reopened last summer, the park is currently operating at limited capacity (which was recently raised from 25 to 35 percent), with new health and safety guidelines that include temperature checks upon entry into the park and a mask requirement for all guests over the age of two.
Disneyland Resort is currently serving as Orange County, California’s first mass vaccination site.

The property is one of five Super Point-of-Dispensing sites in California. While the theme park is mostly closed, Disney has opened the Toy Story parking lot to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine. Medical tents have been installed and the site has opened for vaccine administration.
