Occasionally, rides, attractions, hotels, and kiosks have to temporarily close down in Disney World as Cast Members update and refurbish them. Let’s check out everything that will be closed next week, from December 24th through the 30th!

Call us dramatic if you want, but it’s truly so disheartening when one of our favorite snacks disappears off a menu, a merchandise item we’ve been wanting sells out, or when one of our favorite rides closes. Disney World broke our hearts three times last week, and if our hearts had to be broken, so does yours. (Sorry. I don’t make the rules.)

We’ve seen cases over salaries, broken promises to passholders, First Amendment violations, and more. Back in 2017, Disney was hit with a suit over using another company’s motion-capture technology to make a film, and now, a jury has made a decision in the case.
Anaheim Police officers responded to reports of an active shooter at the Disneyland Hotel on the evening of Thursday, December 21st, 2023.

Officials reported the call was a false alarm, and determined it was a hoax played by young people or teenagers.
Occasionally, Disney releases new merchandise and souvenir items that sell like HOTCAKES.
Lorcana
Out of all the merchandise Disney has released in 2023, the Lorcana Trading Cards have been among the most popular. A partnership with Ravensburger, these collectable cards allow Disney fans to participate in their very own tale throughout the card game. These were released in August 2023 and sold out FAST, restocked later in the year on shopDisney, and were even the first card games to EVER to be made available by virtual queue on Amazon. So… It’s safe to say these bad boys are pretty popular. If you’re hoping to get your hands on some, you’re in luck.
