Disney has been running a series of special offers for active or retired U.S. military members — and now, we’re taking a look at what offers are currently available!
Disney World is reopening this week, and that means that some guests are ready to plan their trips to the parks.
During the historic Disney World closure, new ticket sales and hotel reservations were indefinitely suspended so that Disney could accommodate guests with existing reservations. New vacation packages for 2021 opened first and last night, Disney announced that 2020 purchases would be available TODAY. It’s official! 2020 Disney World tickets and hotel reservations are available NOW!
When Disney World closed its parks, new ticket sales and the ability to make new hotel reservations were suspended.
Disney wanted to make sure they were accommodating guests with existing tickets and hotel reservations (including Annual Passholders) when they reopened the parks and rolled out the Disney Park Pass system. Disney World has already welcomed new vacation package sales for 2021 and now, Disney has shared when they will resume 2020 ticket sales and hotel bookings.
As Disney World starts to put its re-opening plans into action, the parks will be making a lot of modifications to fit with the health and safety guidelines they have put in place.
Since there will be limited capacity in the theme parks when they reopen, guests will need to make reservations through the Disney Park Pass system in order to visit the theme parks. Due to the lower capacity as well as limited options available to guests once the parks reopen, Disney made the decision to pause all park hopping — which means “hopping” between Disney World theme parks in the same day — temporarily. (Note that Disney is selling park hopper add-ons for 2021 tickets at this time, so if your trip is in 2021, you’ll likely be able to park hop. This information is primarily for guests headed to Disney World in 2020.)
So what about all those guests who had purchased the Park Hopper add-on with their 2020 tickets?? Can they get refunds for that extra cost?
2020 is here and there are some exciting changes headed to Disneyland! While we can not WAIT for Avengers Campus to open this summer, there’s another major change that will affect your vacation planning.
Sadly, a new year ALSO means more expensive ticket prices. Disneyland is upping their park ticket and annual pass prices again as of today, February 11, 2020.

Disneyland guests and annual passholders
were treated to a not-so-pleasant surprise this morning. Whether showing up at the park to buy a one day ticket or annual pass, everyone was greeted with a major price increase — including on the MaxPass service and daily parking as well.
That’s right, if you’re planning a trip to Disneyland you’ll need to save more than a few more pennies to purchase your park tickets or annual passes with this price increase. Some prices went up as much as 25% overnight.
