Several construction and refurbishment projects are going on right now around Disney World.
We’ve been keeping an eye on the refurbishment work going on at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the TRON coaster construction, the refurbishment of the Magic Kingdom entrance sign, and more. Disney World is in a constant state of change.
Sometimes, those changes boil down to refurbishments on beloved and long-standing attractions. We’ve seen permits that might point to some upcoming refurbs in Magic Kingdom and now, Disney has announced that TWO Magic Kingdom attractions will be closing for lengthy refurbishments.
Those of you traveling to Walt Disney World in the next couple of weeks are definitely going to want to know about the temporary closure of one of Fantasyland’s most beloved rides.
No details about the reason for the refurbishment have been released, but the closure is scheduled through February 2, 2019. The short timeframe likely provides a clue to some simple maintenance work.
