Back in July, we reported that a few Disney World attractions are closed indefinitely — Stitch’s Great Escape, Primeval Whirl, and Rivers of Light. So what’s up with this Rivers of Light MagicBand? It’s cute…but the timings a little off.
It’s a positively beautiful day to be headed to Disney World, and by the looks of it, we’re not the only ones who think so.
Animal Kingdom Crowds
When we prowled up to Animal Kingdom today, we noticed that there were some looooooooong lines stretching back from the park gate. We’ve seen an uptick in crowds as time goes by since the parks reopen, but surely Animal Kingdom isn’t THIS slammed on a Wednesday! Don’t fear! We got to the bottom of it.

This collection sold out incredibly quickly when it was first released online, and the items were flying off the shelves when we spotted them a few days ago in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Sports fans — you’re not being left out of the action either! We’ve been watching for updates from the “NBA Bubble” since basketball games began at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. Even though the NBA playoffs are nearing their end, Disney Resort hotel guests and some Annual Passholders can now pre-order some basketball themed MagicBands for their stay.
Disney’s Pinocchio left a lasting impression on us and we love seeing it celebrated in the parks and online.

Big Thunder Anniversary Pin
…because this here’s the WILDEST Big Thunder Mountain merch in the wilderness! The beloved Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the Magic Kingdom is celebrating 40 years of twists, turns, and screaming mountain goats. Disney kicked off the celebration with a Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection inspired by the ride. The wild adventures don’t stop there! We just got a look at the new Big Thunder Mountain MagicBand, shirt, phone case, and pin!
