Is it just us, or are you LOVING all the sprinkles of snoap for the holidays in Disney World?
There is never a dull moment when you hit up Landscape of Flavors Food Court at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
I recently got to stay at AOA and couldn’t wait to share some of the fun grab-and-go eats we found. Today, we’re looking at a DFB favorite: cupcakes!
Mickey Oreo Cupcake
First up, this happy little find! While I’ve seen this type of cupcake elsewhere, this is the first spot I’ve seen it with the added Mickey white chocolate face!
Under the lid, you’ll find a fairly standard yellow cupcake with buttercream frosting. But the little white chocolate Mickey face and Oreo “ears” add a little something special to the mix.

Dining in Disneyland columnist Heather Sievers reports on some serious deliciousness from Disneyland!
The mini cupcake sampler from Marceline’s Confectionery has been on my radar for months. As a regular visitor to Marceline’s in Downtown Disney, I’ve been eyeing it the past several trips. The problem: we’re usually on our way to dinner or to the parks, and a box of cupcakes is not something I’m interested in carrying around.

The next post from our Disney Food for Families Columnist, Erin Foster, focuses on one of my favorite things: cupcakes! Erin and her daughters did some experimenting to answer a question asked by a reader in a recent comment… . Here we go!
My daughters and I have been long fascinated not only with the taste of the food at Disney restaurants (yum), but also with the incredible presentation of many of the dishes — particularly the desserts. Over the years, we’ve
borrowed stolen several Disney dessert presentations and adapted them for our own parties and celebrations. When we saw the recent post here about the new mini cupcakes being sold at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we knew that this was an idea just begging to be tried at home.
This is the Disney version of the mini cupcake; our goal was to see if we could make these as a sweet treat to bring to some upcoming holiday parties or perhaps give them as a little personal add-on to some [Read more…]
When Matt over at Studios Central told me about these a couple of months ago, I couldn’t wait to try them out for myself!
Six little mini-cupcakes all lined up in two neat rows in this classy Mickey cut-out box — what’s not to love? These are perfect for sharing among a family or splitting between hungry kiddos.
And if it’s just you and your spouse, six mini-cupcakes is a perfect amount to satisfy a sweet-tooth without making your belly feel like it’s full of lead! (Meaning you can still use your Rock N Roller Coaster fast passes without [Read more…]
