And while Baymax is no longer greeting at Epcot’s Character Spot as Future World’s transformation is underway, we DID see something at Disneyland today that made us think of HIM!
We recently we dug our spoons once more into Kaki Gori, the Japanese Shaved Ice served at Kabuki Cafe. For years now, it’s been THE go-to treat as far as frozen options in the Japan Pavilion go, perfect for the cooling down in the current summer heat.
But did you know that Japan has got another — perhaps more authentic — frozen snack to keep your temperature down? It’s called Mochi. Remember that cool ice pop freezer we found a while ago in Epcot’s Japan pavilion? (Get it – cool … freezer – oh, never mind.)
The happy freezer has more than just ice pops in it these days. Meet the Mochi.
Mochi is actually a Japanese version of a marshmallow, sweet and somewhat bland, but with a smooth texture and easy chew.
